As a Catholic while im here in Dubai, my experience of Holy Week are:

Palm Sunday: The week begins with Palm Sunday, and despite being away from my
home country, I'm determined to keep the tradition alive. I start the day by watching a
live stream of the Palm Sunday Mass, feeling a sense of unity with Catholics around the
world.

Holy Thursday: We reflect on the Last Supper and the act of Jesus washing the feet of
his disciples after watching the movie about Christ.

Good Friday: Good Friday is a day of solemn reflection. I dedicate the day to prayer,
reading the Passion of Christ, and meditating on the Stations of the Cross.

Holy Saturday: On Holy Saturday, I engage in personal prayer and reflection, eagerly
anticipating the Easter Vigil. I spend time reading bible and In the evening, I join a live
stream of the Easter Vigil serve.

Easter Sunday: Finally, Easter Sunday arrives, and I am filled with anticipation and joy. I
make my way to the local church for the first time during Holy Week, feeling a sense of
excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to join the community in person. The
church is adorned with vibrant flowers and joyful decorations, and the atmosphere is
filled with the sound of Alleluias and hymns of resurrection. The Eucharist is a
celebration of new life and hope, and I feel a profound sense of renewal as I partake in
the communal joy of Easter.
Although she is not Catholic, her religion is born-again Christian. her father has been a
pastor since childhood, and they have always been diligent about attending church. As a
child, she thought of it as just a routine, but as she matured, she realized that their church
visits had a deeper significance. When it comes to faith, she firmly believe that salvation lies
within ourselves. It is about cultivating an intimate relationship with God. she constantly
pray and seek God's guidance in all my endeavors because she convinced that God is alive
and active. This belief is evident in her life, during both struggles and moments of joy. She
make it a point to communicate with God at any time of the day, seeking guidance in
everything she do. Reading the Bible is also an integral part of my spiritual journey as it
serves as my guide. During the Holy Week, it's business as usual for my family and me. We
spend the holiday together, cherishing the time with our children and savoring the break
from our usual routines. It's a time for reflection, gratitude.: "In my opinion, our spiritual
practices, such as praying and reading the Bible, should not be confined to just the Holy
Week. Instead, they should be integral parts of our daily routine. By incorporating these
practices into our everyday lives, we can constantly nourish our faith and grow closer to
God. This consistent devotion can help us find guidance, peace, and strength in all
circumstances, not just during religious observances."
Elmarie Quiñones shared her spiritual journey with me.

Despite not being Catholic, she is a devoted born-again Christian. Her father, a pastor,
instilled in her the importance of regular church attendance from a young age. While
initially perceived as a routine, she grew to understand the deeper significance of these
visits as she matured.

Elmarie holds a firm belief that salvation is an inward journey. It's about fostering a personal
and intimate relationship with God. She prays and seeks divine guidance in all her
endeavors, confident in her belief that God is alive and active. This conviction manifests in
her life, both in times of adversity and moments of joy.

Elmarie communicates with God at any given moment, seeking divine guidance in all her
actions. The Bible serves as a constant companion on her spiritual journey, providing
guidance and wisdom. During the Holy Week, Elmarie and her family continue their usual
routines. They use this time to be together, cherishing their familial bond and enjoying a
break from their usual routines. It is a period for reflection, gratitude, and deepening their
family ties.

I realized that our spiritual practices, such as prayer and studying the Bible, should not be
limited to the Holy Week alone. Instead, they should be integrated into our daily lives. By doing
so, we can continuously nurture our faith and draw closer to God.

And we should remember that God is good all the time, our faith should be firm and strong all
the time and always be thankful for what you have now even if its small or big. Because A
grateful heart is a magnet of blessings. That’s all doc, thank you and good evening
