A FOOTBALLER’S WEEK

Every Saturday afternoon Bobby Best plays Football. He is the goalkeeper for Baychester United.
What does he do for the rest of the week?

‘Sunday and Monday are my weekend. On Sunday I go out with my girlfriend. On Monday my
girlfriend goes to work. She works in a bank. I get up late and then I play golf in the afternoon.

From Tuesday to Friday I go to the club at 9 o’clock. The team practises in the morning. On
Tuesday the team doctor sees all the players. On Wednesday the manager shows a video of
Saturday’s match. When we practise on Thursday, the manager watches all the players. In the
afternoon he chooses the new team.

On Saturday I get up at 9.30, and I have breakfast. I go to the club at 1 o’clock and the match
starts at 2.30.’
