PPC (Pozzolona Portland Cement)

Pozzolona Portland Cement is a type of blended cement. It consists of 15-35%
pozzolanic material, 4% gypsum and the rest is clinker. PPC as per BIS code is
equivalent to that of 33 grade. PPC makes the concrete more impermeable and
denser. It can be used in construction of hydraulic structure, marine works, mass
concreting, etc.
Super Plasticizer
Superplasticizers are the improved chemical admixtures over Plasticizers with
highly effective Plasticizing effects on wet concrete. Superplasticizers result in
workability at a given water-cement ratio. For a constant workability, reduction
of water content up to 30% may be achieved by the use of Superplasticizers.
Coarse Aggregate
Aggregates sizes of more than 4.7mm are called coarse aggregates. The surface
area of coarse aggregate is less than fine aggregates. Coarse aggregate acts as
inert filler material for concrete. Brick chips, stone chips, gravels, pebbles,
clinkers, etc. are used as coarse aggregate in concrete.
Fine aggregate

Aggregates sizes of less than 4.7mm are called fine aggregates. The surface are
of fine aggregate is higher. The voids between the coarse aggregate are filled up
by fine aggregate. Sand, surki, stone screenings, burnt clays, fly ash, etc. are
used as fine aggregate in concrete.
