ADMISSION FOR THREE YEAR DIPLOMA POLYTECHNIC COURSES-2024

Online Applications are invited from domiciles of J&K and/or resident of Ladakh who are eligible
and desirous for seeking admission in Three Year Diploma (Engineering and Non Engineering)
courses in all the Government / Private Polytechnics of J&K and Ladakh for academic year 2024-
25. The merit of the candidates of all the courses except Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
shall be purely. on the basis of marks obtained in 10th class and whereas for MLT merit shall be
based on marks obtained in 12th class (Medical stream), The details of all the Government /
Private Polytechnics of J&K and Ladakh are enclosed as annexure "A". The same is available in the
Electronic Information Brochure-2024 which can be accessed at https://www.iksbotelive~com .

Online Application forms:

Candidates can submit their Application forms in online mode only on the JKBOTE website
https://admission.iksbotelive.com from 01-05-2024 to 15-116-2024 with a Fee of Rs. 100 (Rupees
One hundred only) online through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI etc. The details
regarding procedure for filing Application Form and eligibility etc. of the candidates is mentioned
in the Information Brochure.

Eligibility:
1. The Applicant must:
be a domicile of J&K or resident of Ladakh as the case may be;
Passed 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board.
Passed 12th Class (Medical stream only) from a recognized Board in case of MLT course.

have obtained percentage greater than or equal to 35% in the qualifying examination (10
or 12th whichever is applicable)

(Note: However the candidates who have appeared in 1(/'1/12 class examination may
also apply and marks certificates on the portal to be uploaded as and when available}

Documents to be uploaded with the Application Forms:

The applicant has to upload the following documents in JPEG format with size not less than SOKB:-
Recent Passport size Photograph
Domicile Certificate of J&K or Ladakh Resident Certificate(LRC)

Miirks certificate (10th or 12 as the case may be)/Board Roll-Number slip for appearing
candidates
Category Certificate, issued by the concerned authority.
Disability Certificate, in case of differently able persons, issued by the concerned authority.

The applicants are advised to fill the Online Application Forms on their own or through
a responsible person and ensure all the correct details of the candidate and documents
are submitted. The applicant must go through the Information Brochure before
applying.

Note: The online submitted form is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at
any stage subject to the final verification of the documents and even at any stage
where such a document is proved to be fake/false.
Mere submission of the Application Form shall not confer any preferential right/claim
for admission upon the intending applicants, but shall be subject to the fulfillment of
the eligibility criteria and the qualification prescribed for the said course.
The final seat allocation is subject to merit, intake capacity and reservation norms.
Conversion factor for CGPA to percentage shall be 9.5 uniform across all the
applications received. If conversion factor of qualifying Board is different, the same
shall be communicated by the candidate beforehand.
