The AAA will appoint the most mutually agreeable arbitrator from the lists returned to the AAA. If an
appointment cannot be made from this list, the AAA may make an appointment without providing additional lists.

As this matter is being administered under the Level 1 Procedures of the Home Construction Rules, arbitrators are
compensated at a rate of $1,000.00. This contemplates a one-day hearing. If an in person hearing is scheduled, the
arbitrator will then serve at a rate of $1,250.00. The rate of $1,250.00 contemplates a one-day hearing. If
additional days of hearing, study time, or site visits are needed, the parties will be responsible for sharing in the
additional cost at the rate listed on the arbitrator’s resume.

Arbitrator compensation is an independent obligation of the parties and it is understood that the AAA has no
direct or indirect liability for such payments. Each party shall promptly make such deposits with the AAA as
required, pursuant to the Rules, subject to final apportionment by the arbitrator in the award.

As a reminder, the parties are to exchange copies of all correspondence except the Checklist for Conflicts and this
List for Selection of Arbitrator.
