Writing Task04 for Unit 3

Watch the video and write your own healthy diet for the residents of your Nursing Home.

With the information provided by the staff and residents, I believe this would be a good healthy
diet plan for the residents of the nursing home:

For breakfast, a good option is oatmeal with fresh berries, sliced bananas, and chopped nuts to
add nutrients and fiber. Low-fat yogurt with honey and granola for probiotics and additional
texture. Freshly squeezed orange juice or a fruit smoothie for a refreshing start.

For lunch: Grilled fish with a side of steamed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, and green beans).
Mixed salad with vegetables and vinaigrette. A piece of fruit for dessert, such as an apple or a
pear.

For snacks: Greek yogurt with a handful of almonds or walnuts for a protein boost. Fresh fruit
slices and whole-grain crackers with cheese. Herbal tea or mint/citrus-infused water for added
flavor.

Finally, for dinner: Baked salmon, a protein-rich option. Mashed sweet potatoes or cauliflower as
a healthy alternative to traditional mashed potatoes. Mixed fruit salad for dessert.

This diet plan incorporates a variety of nutrient-dense foods, proteins, and plenty of fruits and
vegetables to ensure a balanced and enjoyable culinary experience for the residents. The goal
is to improve nutritional intake while creating a comfortable dining environment.
