ASSEMBLING PARTS OF CPU

In our last lab class, we assembled parts of CPU with the help of corresponding
cables. And here are the few steps and methods for assembling it.
1. Take the CPU and place it on the main board(motherboard) in a special slot.
2. Attach the CPU fan to top of the CPU.
3. On your motherboard, find the RAM slots. They are long, usually near the
CPU socket. Gently but firmly press down on both ends of the RAM stick
until it clicks into place.
4. Find the CPU power connector on the motherboard. It is typically a 4-pin or
8-pin socket located near the CPU socket.
5. Insert the CPU power cable into the CPU power socket on the
motherboard.
6. Connect other necessary power cables from the PSU to components like
the motherboard and storage drives.
7. SATA device needs a SATA data cable and connect one end of the cable to
the SATA port on the back of your storage drive and other end of the SATA
cable to one of the SATA ports on the motherboard.
8. Front Pannels are usually thin wires with connectors at the end.
9. Each connector of Front Pannel should be labeled and connect the power
LED and HDD LED connectors, ensuring the positive and negative leads
match the labeled pins.
10. If your front Pannel includes audio jacks, connect them to the
corresponding audio headers on the motherboard.
