Unit 7:
1. How do you normally travel to work or school? What is the journey like?
The answer: I usually ride a motorbike to school. The journey is pretty fun—I
get to feel the wind and see everything around me. Riding a motorbike helps me
move through traffic faster than other ways of getting around, though sometimes it
can be a bit tricky during rush hours. But I always make sure to wear a helmet and
follow the rules for safety. It's a cool and exciting way to go to school.
2. What’s your favourite way to travel? Why?
The answer: My favorite way to travel is by train. There's something about the
sound of the train on the rail tracks and the changing scenery outside the window that
I find incredibly amazing.
3. Is your country hotter or colder than the UK?

The answer: My country, Vietnam, is generally hotter than the UK. Vietnam
experiences a tropical climate, with high temperatures and humidity throughout
much of the year.
4. Is driving better than flying for you?
The answer: It depends on the circumstances. Driving can offer more flexibility
and the chance to explore places off the beaten path, but flying is usually faster for
long distances. Ultimately, the choice between driving and flying comes down to
factors like time, cost, convenience, and personal preference.
5. What is the most famous city in your country?
The answer: Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is the most famous city with its long
history and unique cultural beauty. It's renowned for its cultural heritage and
distinctive architecture such as the Temple of Literature and Hoan Kiem Lake.
Additionally, Hanoi serves as the political, cultural, and economic center of the
country.
6. Tell us about the town you come from?
The answer: Quy Nhơn is a coastal town located in the Bình Định Province of
Vietnam, renowned for its picturesque beaches and rich cultural heritage. The town
is also known for its fresh seafood delicacies, offering visitors a taste of authentic
Vietnamese cuisine. With its historical sites like the Banh It Towers and the Quang
Trung Museum, Quy Nhơn provides a glimpse into Vietnam's vibrant past.
7. Which city you know is the most expensive?
The answer: Singapore is indeed one of the most expensive cities in the world
such as its limited land space, high demand for housing, and a strong economy,
making it one of the most expensive cities globally.
8. Do you spend more time with friends or family?
The answer: Yes, I do. I often spend a lot of time with my family in my free time,
like attending parties with friends or traveling with family or simply having meals

together, I very love my family and friends, spending time with them makes me feel
very happy and relaxed after school.
9. Do you usually use cash or credit cards? Why?
The answer: I often use cash because most of the things I need to spend only cost
a small amount of money. I don't often buy things on e-commerce platforms, so I
mainly use cash.
10. Talk about a journey you made.
The answer: In my opinion, my most memorable journey was the journey back
to my hometown without my parents accompanying me. That was when I was in 5th
grade, my family and I had a plan to go back to my hometown to visit my
grandmother, but my parents were suddenly busy, so they decided to ask a friend of
theirs to take me home first while they left later. At first, I was quite worried and
scared because I didn't have family nearby, but then things went well. We stopped to
eat at a rest stop in the middle of the road, discussed the scenery along the road and
sang along in the car. After all, it was a memorable journey.
11. What is the most expensive city in Vietnam?
The answer: The most expensive city in Vietnam is generally considered to be
Ho Chi Minh City (formerly known as Saigon). It is the largest city in the country
and a major economic and financial hub. Ho Chi Minh City has a higher cost of living
compared to other cities in Vietnam due to factors such as higher property prices, a
larger expatriate community, and a greater concentration of businesses and services.
However, it's worth noting that the cost of living can vary depending on individual
circumstances and lifestyle choices.
12. What is the most beautiful city in Vietnam?
The answer: For me, the most beautiful city is the city where I was born, Nha
Trang, it is a beautiful city with a coastline stretching along the city, many trees, cool
air, friendly and unique residents. Especially what makes this place the most beautiful
in my heart are the memories that have stuck with me here.

13. What is the best place to eat in the area where you live?
The answer: In my opinion, the best place to eat around the area I live in is Nha
Hang Ngon Restaurant: This restaurant is located on Pasteur Street and is famous for
traditional Vietnamese dishes. You can enjoy many delicious dishes such as pho,
banh xeo, bun cha and many other dishes.
14. What is the biggest city in Vietnam?
The answer: The biggest city in Vietnam is Ho Chi Minh City. It is also known
by its former name, Saigon. Ho Chi Minh City is located in southern Vietnam and
serves as the economic and financial center of the country. It is the most populous
city in Vietnam, with a vibrant urban atmosphere, bustling streets, and a wide range
of cultural, historical, and commercial attractions.
15. What is the most beautiful place in Vietnam?
The answer: The most beautiful place in Vietnam is Halong Bay, a UNESCO
World Heritage Site in the north, with beautiful scenery of limestone blocks and
emerald water, it creates a lyrical and romantic picture.
16. What is the most beautiful place in Ho Chi Minh city?
The answer: The most beautiful place in Ho Chi Minh city is The Notre-Dame
Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, a French colonial-era church in Ho Chi Minh City, is
one of the most beautiful landmarks in the city, with its red bricks and stained-glass
windows giving it a poetic sense of antiquity dream.

Unit 8:
1. Tell us about a festival that happens in your country?
The answer: Tet Nguyen Dan or Lunar New Year is the most important festival
in Vietnam, celebrating the arrival of spring and the start of a new year according to
the lunar calendar. At this time, everyone in the family will have moments together
after a tiring year of work.
2. What are your favorite clothes?

The answer: I like clothes made from natural materials like cotton or linen
because they are soft, breathable, comfortable and reduce heat in hot summers.
3. What are you wearing today?
The answer: I'm wearing a blue t-shirt, black jeans, and white sneakers because
this outfit helps me feel confident when meeting people, while still remaining
comfortable to study throughout the day. The combination of shirt and jeans creates
a stable and modern style, reflecting my academic yet friendly and approachable
style.
4. When you buy clothes, what is the most important for you?
The answer: When buying clothes, choosing the right size is the most important
factor for me, because I want them to be comfortable and fit. In addition, I also pay
attention to the fabric material and how it can be guaranteed to be durable and
comfortable. Furthermore, I also care about the style and color of clothes so that they
reflect the light of my own personality and preferences.
5. Have you got long or short hair?
The answer: I have long black hair. I take care of my hair with hair repair oil so
my hair is always shiny and smooth. I love my hair very much.
6. Are you tall or short?
The answer: I have average-height. I got 1m59. But I want to be taller, I do
exercise and drink milk every day to grow taller.
7. Describe your best friend’s appearance.
The answer: My friend's a very pretty girl. She' s tall and has beautiful figure. She
has long beautiful hair, which is straight and has a dark black color. And, lastly she has
bright black eyes.
8. What things did you like when you were a child?
The answer: When I were a child, I liked a lot of things. I liked eating sweets,
which was quite harmful for my teeth. I liked travelling too.
9. Think of a photo you have and say why you like it.

The answer: I have a photo of me when I was thirteen. At that time, I was taking
the picture with a monkey at the zoo. I was so cute in the picture and the monkey has
soft fur and looks very adorable, so I like it.
10. Have you ever been to an amazing festival or other event?
The answer: Yes, I have attended in the Mid-Autumn Festival. On this holiday, I
get to watch the lion dance, the mid-autumn lantern procession, and have fun with
family and friends. I really like this festival because it gives me a lot of emotions and
gives me the feeling of returning to my childhood.

Unit 9:
1. Do you enjoy going to the cinema? Why? / Why not?
The answer: Yes, I enjoy going to the cinema. There's something special about
the experience of watching a film on the big screen, surrounded by other people. It
creates a unique atmosphere that enhances the viewing experience.
2. Are you going to the cinema or theatre this weekend?
The answer: I'm not sure yet. I might go to the cinema this weekend, but I'm also
considering going to the theatre. It depends on what's showing and how I'm feeling.
3. How do you watch videos online?
The answer: I watch videos online through various streaming platforms like
Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, or YouTube. It's convenient because I can watch
anytime, anywhere, and choose from a wide range of content.
4. What was the last film you saw?
The answer: The last film I saw was "Inception". It's a mind-bending thriller
directed by Christopher Nolan, and it really kept me on the edge of my seat the whole
time.
5. What type of film do you like best?

The answer: I enjoy a variety of genres, but I think my favorite type of film is
probably science fiction. I love exploring futuristic worlds, complex ideas, and
imaginative storytelling.
6. Are there any kinds of film that you don’t like? What are they?
The answer: While I try to keep an open mind about different types of films, I'm
not particularly fond of horror movies. I find them too intense and unsettling for my
taste.

7. Would you like to make a film in the wild?


The answer: Making a film in the wild sounds like an exciting adventure! The
natural landscapes and environments would provide stunning visuals and add an
extra layer of authenticity to the storytelling. It would definitely be a challenging but
rewarding experience.

8. What are your plans for this weekend?


The answer: This weekend, I'm looking forward to catching up on some reading,
spending time outdoors, meeting up with friends for coffee, and maybe trying out a
new recipe in the kitchen. Overall, just aiming for a good balance of relaxation and
productivity.

9. What are your plans for your next vacation?


The answer: Solo travel is on the rise, and more and more women are doing it by
themselves, from planning a quick weekend trip.
10. Do you like art?
The answer: I am quite fond of art as I find it really abstract and beautiful. Some
people hold the belief that art is way too sophisticated and tasteless, having to spend
hours looking at a picture.

The answer: I quite like modern art. I went to the Tate Modern once, which is a
large art gallery for modern artists in London. I found the sculptures and paintings
fascinating.
12. What kind of music do you like?
The answer: When it comes to music, every individual has their own tastes
depending on their emotions or experience. The music genre that I am into at the
moment is rock music.
13. What kind of games do you play?
The answer: I enjoy a variety of video games, gravitating towards those with
engaging storylines or strategic gameplay.
