5. MOT Associates

5.1 Recruitment of MOT Presenters, Trainers & Brand


Ambassadors

 MOT SA Board
 MOT SA Coordinators
 MOT SA Associates

Purpose

MOT SA has certain criteria for the selection of MOT Associates, which
includes Board members, Brand Ambassadors, Presenters and MOT Youth. It is
also important that the expectations between MOT SA Associates and MOT SA
are clear and on mutual agreement.

Criteria for the selection of MOT Associates:

 Passionate;
 Generous;
 Determined;
 Youthful;
 Innovative;
 Sincere;
 Interested.

Remuneration of MOT Associates:

MOT Associates are not paid for their voluntary contribution to the work of MOT
SA.
MOT Associates can be refunded for expenses occurred while working for MOT
SA, on submission of supporting documents.

Selection and appointment of MOT Presenters:

 Be prepared, organised, and give 100 percent to every MOT session.


 Consistently follow the design and content of the MOT Programme
Manuscripts to achieve the desired outcomes.
 Passionately inspire the youth with the MOT Values.
 The ability to create and facilitate a warm and safe learning environment.
 Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and manage diversity in the group.
 Communicate clearly, concisely and respectfully.
 Be comfortable and confident to speak and work in group settings.
 Able to organise and plan MOT events and sessions efficiently.
 Has good listening skills and be sincere.

Selection and appointment of MOT SA Training Facilitators:

 Be an expert on the MOT Programme Manuscripts and diligently follow the


design and content of the Manuscripts.
 The ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
 Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and manage diversity in the group.
 Communicate clearly, concisely and respectfully.
 Comfortable and confident to speak and work in group settings.
 Has good listening skills and be sincere.
 Has presented 10 MOT sessions and has been vetted as a competent MOT
presenter.
 Is able to fit MOT Training workshops in current work schedule.
 Ability to inspire passion and competence amongst new and current MOT
Presenters and MOT Youth.

Selection and appointment of MOT SA Brand Ambassadors:

 Representing, and believe in, the MOT values and philosophy.


 Show passion for young people and their development.
 Well-known and respected personality in the media, communities, academia,
entertainment and/or business sectors.
 Be able to inspire and encourage the youth through presentations, social
media, social interactions and personal commitment.
