Architectural Firm - A professional organization comprised of architects, designers, planners,

and often engineers, dedicated to providing architectural design and planning services for
buildings, structures, and spaces.

Design-Build Firm - A type of construction company or organization that offers both design and
construction services under a single contract.

II. TOPIC RELEVANCE

The distinction between an Architectural Firm and a Design-Build Firm lies in the scope
of services they offer and their involvement in the construction process. An Architectural Firm
focuses primarily on the design phase, providing detailed plans and blueprints for a structure,
ensuring that the design meets both aesthetic and functional requirements. On the other hand, a
Design-Build Firm integrates both design and construction services, offering a comprehensive
package from conceptualization to completion. This approach can streamline the process,
potentially reducing time and costs while ensuring that the design vision is consistently maintained
throughout the project execution.
