Excellent Delegates, it is an honor to represent the Republic of Korea at this United Nations
General Assembly.

Regarding global conflicts, South Korea expresses deep concern about the escalation of tensions
between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the ongoing clashes between Palestine and Israel. We
urge the international community to seek peaceful and diplomatic solutions to these impasses,
based on respect for international law and human rights.

Regarding the situation on the Korean Peninsula, we reiterate our commitment to regional
peace and stability. We call for international mediation to promote dialogue and reconciliation
between the two Koreas, seeking a diplomatic and lasting solution to the challenges we face.

Regarding the Republic of China´s claims in the South China Sea, we reaffirm the importance of
respecting international maritime law and peaceful resolution of disputes. We encourage all
parties involved to seek solutions through dialogue and cooperation.

Regarding climate change, South Korea is committed to implementing the Paris Agreement and
reducing greenhouse gas emissions. We recognize the urgency of the climate crisis and are
committed to working together with the international community to address this global
challenge.

Finally, concerning the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), We would like to recognize
South Korea`s efforts in achieving significant progress in areas such as education, health and
gender equality. We are ready to collaborate with international institutions and other countries
on initiatives that promote sustainable development and the well-being of all people.

May this General Assembly be a space for constructive dialogue and multilateral cooperation,
aiming for a more just, peaceful, and sustainable world for all.
