Please note the following dates

Half Term

Wednesday 14th February – Friday 16th February 2024

End of Term 2 Examinations

End of Term Exams – Thursday 14th March – Friday 22nd March 2024

Spring Break & Eid Holiday for Students

Monday 25th March – Friday 12th April 2024

All students to be back in school on Monday 15th April 2024

End of Year

End of Year Exams – Tuesday 11th June – Friday 28th June 2024

Last day for students - Tuesday 2nd July 2024

We request your support in ensuring your child maintains good – very good attendance this academic
year in order to support their academic attainment and progress. Please note that leave will not be
authorised on academic days.

Please also note the KHDA Parent, School contract that states

“parents have a responsibility for promoting their child’s attendance” and “continued absenteeism will
result in disciplinary measures and will affect the student’s chances of enrolment for the upcoming
academic year.”

The Ministry of Education for the UAE also states that ‘if a student is absent from school for 20
consecutive days or 25 non-consecutive days’ the school can remove the child’s place.
The KHDA guidelines for attendance are as follows:

≤ 98% Outstanding
96 – 97% Very Good
94 – 95% Good
92 – 93% Acceptable
90 – 91% Weak
≥ 90% Very Weak
