ME Laboratory 1 (MELB0321) (“ane GUEVARRA, AIRA CIARIGE 1 Laborstory Reporttt OF Yeor, & Section: RSME - 3c Date: 05 ~ 4 -24 fopic: Measuring Humidity L introduction A paychrometer is a simple ingtrument for meesuring relative humidity. It uses the wet-oullo ond dry-bulb temperatures, measured in slightly moving air. Each group will measure wet- and dry-bulb temperatures in three diferent locations using sling psychyometer. The gaturation presaures, water vapor pressure, specilic humidity, and relative humidity @ these locations can then be determined. V. Objectives: | | T fe be able to determine the relative humidity oF the air using | 2 Psy chrometer, To be able 40 obtain precise humidity data, understanding relative humidity levels, * regulating environmental conditions eprectvely 4. Consider three (3) various locations in which there is lange discrepancy in temperature as Well a6 the moisture content of air with respect to the dry air. 2. Consider the following locations: «ME Laboratory 3 with the air conditioning unit at full blast . Wet the piece of cloth on one of the thermometers for the wet-butb lemperature, 4. Qn each location, measure the dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatures by retating the Sling | Peychrometer for eround thitty (30) to fourty (40) seconds. The dry-bulb temperature being measured by the thermometer without the wetted cloth and {ite wet-pulb by the thermometer with the wetted cloth, 5.
