A: Hello! Long time no see.

B: Hi! It's great to meet you here. How are you?
A: I'm good. I'm learning about proverbs. Do you know any interesting proverbs about
knowledge?
B: Yes, of course. I know some meaningful proverbs about knowledge.
A: That sounds great. Can you tell me a little bit about it?
B: For example, don't judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes.
A: Oh, it sounds interesting. So what does it mean?
B: It means don't judge a person if you don't understand someone's situation and what they
struggle with before passing judgement on them.
A: Great. Do you know any other proverbs?
B: There is a popular proverb I think you know.
A: What is that?
B: Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime.
A: Oh, yes. I know that proverb. It means if you really want to help someone, you should not
just do it by completing the things for them. Instead, the best way to help someone is to teach
them how to do something, right?
B: Yes, that's right. I also know one more proverb: "Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man
healthy, wealthy and wise".
A: I know that too. It means going to bed early will assure that one has a good night's sleep
and walking up early allows for one to help have an entire day to get things accomplished.
B: You're right. You seem quite knowledgeable about proverbs.
A: Thank you for saying that.
B: Hope you get high mark.
A: Thank you so much.
CUE CARD 40
A: Hi. Long time no see. How are you ?
B: I’m fine. What about you?
A: Not too bad. What are you doing?
B: I’m reading an article that predicts the change of life in 2030
A: Really? That sounds interesting what’s in that article?
B: It says that between now and 2030, transportation will change. Cars will run on new and
clean fuels and they will go very fast. Cars will have computer to control the speed of the car
and there won’t be any accidents.
A: Well, what do you know! We won’t have to inhale exhaust from cars anymore. What’s
more ?
B: Space planes will takes people halfway around the world in 2 hours. By 2030, space planes
will fly all over the world and people will fly from Los Angeles to Tokyo in just 2 hours.
A: So great. I can get to my vacation destination quickly without spending hours on a place.
B: Not yet. Technology will change dramatically. Specifically robots will have replaced
people in factories. By 2030, we will see robots everywhere in factories, schools, offices,
hospitals, shops and homes.
A: Robots are such a wonderful invention but I think humans will become lazy and gradually
depend on them.
B: Yeah. I think so. If the predictions in this article are true, the future is worth looking
forward to.
A: Yes. I also expect that to happen.
