DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONS AND INSTITUTIONS

Organization - one or more people (grp of people) having a same purpose. (eg. Club)
Institution - people cooperate and which influences the behavior of people and the
way they live.

INSTITUTIONS IN SOCIETY
Envi -different ways that people view and understand the relationship between
humans and the natural environment. (Biocentricm equal value on living things;
Ecocentricm natural environment at the center of the universe)
Knowledge - knowledge is produced, transmitted, and used within a society.
influence the development of technology, the arts, and other aspects of culture, and
they inform social and political decision-making. (edu, sci, religion etc.)
Tenu - determine how land and property are owned, used, and transferred within a
society. (Tenancy, indigeneous prop, state prop. Common prop, etc.)
Conflict - processes and structures that are put in place to help individuals and
organizations resolve conflicts in a peaceful and constructive manner.
Assoc - various organizations and groups that individuals join voluntarily for a
common purpose or interest. (nonprofit org, trade unions, social clubs like sports
club, art club)
