Help for Opening Examples

The examples can be accessed through either the FILE menu or the Examples icon on the Toolbar.

After clicking on either of these options a dropdown menu will appear from which you will select the
chapter from the textbook. If you have a custom textbook, then the chapter numbers may differ from
the dropdown list but the chapter names will be the same. Please note that the chapters refer to the
13th edition of your Heizer, Render, Munson textbook.
After selecting the chapter, a list of models will appear. Below is the list for Project Managament.

There are two ways to open an example from this list

 Select the file and then click on Open Selected File

 Double-click on the selected file

For many chapters there is only one module that is used. If a chapter uses more than one module a
note will appear on the window as shown above for Project Management which uses both the Project
Management and Statistics modules. You can see which chapters have more than one module and what
they are by clicking on the HEIZER menu on the main toolbar.

After opening one example, the easiest way to get to the next example with a file is to use the Next

button on the second toolbar.
