MECHANICS
1. The quiz bee is individual in nature.
2. The Contest will be divided into three (3) rounds: Easy, Average and Difficult round.
3. The Quiz Master shall read the word TWICE.
4. Afterwards, the quiz master will say “GO,” only then the participants may start writing their answer
on the white board and, at the same time, the start of the countdown timer. When the quiz master
says, “TIME’S UP”, all participants should raise their markers and show their final answers after the time
allotted for each word.
5. Any question or query to the correctness of the answers should be raised before the start of the next
word.
6. The Easy, Average, and Difficult round consists fifteen (15) words.
a. Easy - 5 Words
b. Average - 5 Words
c. Difficult - 5 Words

7. Each word shall be given a predetermined number of points corresponding to its round.
a. Easy - 2 points
b. Average - 3 points
c. Difficult - 5 points
8. Each word in any given round has corresponding time limit.
a. Easy – 10 seconds
b. Average – 20 seconds
c. Difficult – 30 seconds
d. Clincher Round – 30 seconds

9. At the end of each round, the scores will be computed.


10. At the end of the contest, the highest scorer shall be declared champion.
11. In cases of ties, clincher words will be raised to break the tie.
12. Any student caught in any act of cheating or any form of dishonesty shall automatically be
disqualified.
13. The champion shall be assigned a coach to prepare for Regional Competitions.
14. A Quiz Master, a Timer, and a Scorer shall be assigned to facilitate the competition.
15. A team composed of the Principal, Coordinator and the Subject Teacher shall evaluate and give
decisions in cases of queries and complaints.

DIGITAL POSTER MAKING CONTEST


In collaboration with the celebration of the WORLD CLEAN AND GREEN WEEK 2023

MECHANICS

1. The competition is open to all Grade 4 to Grade 12 students of CAi.


2. Each participant is required to bring their own device.
3. Each participant should submit ONE entry only.
4. The poster must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the given theme.
5. Artworks must be done on the spot and must be completed within the allotted time of two (2) hours.
6. Posters must illustrate, interpret, and emphasize the given theme.
7. Canvas size should be 8.5 x 11 inches or 816 x 1056 px (300 DPI) in size, portrait layout.
8. Any artwork on the poster must be original in design.
9. Contestants may use Photoshop, Paint, or any related software applications or media.
10. Each representative is required to present an explanation of their work.

12. Each poster will be posted on the CREATIVE MEDIA Facebook Page. Online voting will start on
September 19,2021 and will end on September 21, 2022 at exactly 12:00 NN.

Aesthetic Appeal - 25%
Audience Impact/Social Media Impact - 20%

CONTEST 2023

1. The contest is open to all Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten students of CAi.


2.The participant must prepare a minus one of the chosen song, and shall be submitted to
his/her English Teacher at least three (3) days ahead of the competition day.
3.Participants must perform solo.
4.The performance should last at least two minutes but not more than four minutes
duration, including the introduction.
5.Participants are advised to wear appropriate attire during their performance.
6.Three winners will be chosen per level based on the judging criteria.
7.The judge’s decision shall be considered final and therefore not appealable.
8.Winners will be chosen based on the following criteria:
a. Voice quality – 50%
b. Diction, timing, and dynamics - 15%
c. Musicality - 10%
d. Breathing and Phrasing - 10%
e. Interpretation and Stage presence - 15%

1.All Grade 1 to 3 students are allowed to join the contest.


2.Each entry shall represent a famous character from any popular book.
3.The title of the selection and the name of the author shall be given by the contestant when
the selection is introduced.
4.The presentation shall be no more than 5 minutes in performance, including introductory
and transitional materials.
5.Dialogue is strictly in the English language.
6.The judges’ decisions shall be considered final and, therefore, not appealable.
7.Winners will be chosen based on the following criteria:
a. Overall creativity and artistic impression – 25%
b. Design and execution – 50%
c. Creative use of materials – 25%

1. The contest is open to all Grade 4 to Grade 6 students of Cachapero Academe Inc. Each section must
have at least one participant.
2. Participants shall be given a declamation piece deliverable in five (5) minutes or less.
3. Participants shall be in an appropriate costume and use props whenever necessary.
4. Upon submission of the results to the committee, the judges’ decisions shall be considered final and
irrevocable.
5. Only three (3) student declaimers shall be awarded as Champion, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up.
The judges’ decisions shall be considered final and, therefore, not appealable.
6. Winners will be chosen based on the following criteria:
a. Overall Interpretation – 40%
b. Vocal Aspects – 40%
c. Costume and Props – 10%
d. Audience Impact – 10%

1. The contest is open to all bonafide students of CAi from Grade 7-9.
2. Each group shall interpret the contest piece entitled “Peace not war” by Patricia Lithuanian.
3. The number of participants in this competition shall be a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 24
members. (Composed of 8 students per section)
4. A minimum of 10 minutes and a maximum of 15 minutes of performance, including the entrance and exit,
shall be applied.
5. A 1-point deduction shall be made for every 30 seconds excess during the performance.
6. Dangerous stunts shall be prohibited. The board of judges reserves the right to discontinue presentations
whenever they pose a danger or risk to the team members, the judges, and the audience

7.Upon submission of the results to the committee, the judges’ decisions shall be considered final and

8.Only three speech choirs shall be awarded as: Champion, First runner up, and Second runner up.

1. Each level (grade 10-12) shall have a team of 15 members. The competing grade levels will be (grades 10,
11, & 12). The team shall decide who shall act as scriptwriters, presenter/s, anchorperson/s, technical
director, etc.
2. The team should prepare a script that includes an infomercial, which may depict health, environment,
politics, and social issues, and four (4) news articles based on press releases, raw data, or any other
option given by the English teachers. The team shall rank these items according to their news values. The
infomercial shall have a maximum length of (1) minute and shall use the English language as well.
3. A NEWSCAST MUST CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING:
