Training Takeaways

Way.com works as an all in one marketplace wherein businesses can freely list
their offerings and services for buyers. On the dining LOB, the restaurants are
allowed to list their menus free of cost on the website.

While we talk about a marketplace the 2 entities involved would be the buyers
and sellers. At Way.com the buyers and sellers are referred by different names as

Sellers: - Partners, Vendors , Merchants etc.

Buyers – Consumers , Customers , Users

Way.com mainly has a website and an app as 2 platforms to facilitate the


operation of this marketplace.

1. With respect to the dining , the first people to touch base with the
restaurants would be the BD ( Business Development ) Team, who would
be contacting prospective restaurants to have their menu listed free of
charge on our website. If a consensus does come in to sign a contract , then
a deal gets closed and the details of the contract are been passed on the
Content Team and the BD team goes on to pursue the next hot lead.

2. The Content Team works on the details passed on to them by the BD


regarding the menu list and other relevant details and enters them to the
Way Admin panel or Way panel as it is referred to .Basically the details
entered in the WayPanel comes from the contract and also on the research
done by the content team on Google etc.
3. Once this is done the marketing team comes in to picture and uses digital
marketing , mainly email marketing to drove customers to the website , so
that more customers and orders do come in for the partner restaurants

As an when an order is placed by a Customer, there are 3 actions triggered:

 Customer gets an email stating the order is placed


 Restaurant gets a fax / email with the details of the order.
 Email also is received by Way.com

As soon as this happens , call up the restaurant to confirm the order and also
confirm that the payment has already been paid by Way.com

Note: If possible contact the Cx to see if the order is well received.

3. Delayed Order due to Staff not aware of the Way.com partnership.

Mealplan

The Way.com mealplan is a subscription based plan wherein a customer can


purchase meals from several restaurants for less than the menu price at the
restaurant.

Basically not all dishes of a particular partner restaurant is used to create a meal
plan but say 3 signature dishes of a particular restaurant will find a place in the
meal plan.
