MATH1081 Assignment Peer Review

Score:

2/2
This work is written in sentences and paragraphs with correct grammar. It is well-structured,
concise, and coherent throughout all proofs.

Score:

2/2
The explanation is sufficient for someone who does not know how to solve the argument. It is clear
and concise and does not include any extra information and is displayed in an accessible manner. The
only thing that could be an issue is issues with assumed knowledge and word and mathematical
definitions of terms such as transitive (the terms in Question 2).

Score:

2/2
The arguments are self-contained, and the conclusions are written out concisely and clearly.

Score:

2/2
All the answers are mathematically valid. They hold to mathematical principles and fashions.
Score:

1/2
The equations are typeset using Microsoft word and the mathematical symbols within the text
typeset are all correct.

However, the equals signs are not all set out equally (check the second and third-last line of
Question 3).

Also for Question 2: The use of the numbers to distinguish between the different ‘k’s is a bit
confusing. It’d be a lot better to make it k_1, that way reducing confusion.

Overall, a well done by the student! Mathematically and logically concise, the student provides a
convincing argument for these proofs! Just need to fix up some of their formatting and they are
good to go.
