I ROTIONALE
This proposal aims to enhance rice production’s yield and income. Rice, a
crucial staple globally, will remain pivotal in the future, impacting food
security, poverty alleviation, youth employment, efficient resources use, and
climate impact. The AGUSAN DEL SUR STATE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE
AND TECHNOLOGY possesses extensive lowland rice areas ideal for
cultivation. However, some issues may persist without clear solution. These
challenges included are climate changes it brings unpredictable weather
patterns making it challenging to farmers, another is land availability, and
market access and price fluctuations are complex issues influence by various
factors.
