I am writing this letter to inform you about my intent to apply for this job. I came across one of
your job posts in LinkedIn, and it immediately got my attention because of the job description, and
it has a decent pay. Your company’s mission aligns with my passion and desire for teaching
students especially those who struggle with learning English language.
I have been teaching for six (6) years now since 2018, and I got my teaching license here in the
Philippines in 2019. Right after my graduation, I had my first teaching job at St. Alexius College
Koronadal for three (3) years. I was a mathematics teacher for 7th to 10th graders at the same time
a mathematics coordinator.
Currently, I am teaching both virtual and brick-and-mortar. I have been teaching virtually for more
than a year at Proximity Learning, Inc. at Texas, USA. I am conducting live classes in a classroom
setup at different districts in the USA. I am teaching Mathematics for 6th and 7th graders at Baker
Middle School, Georgia, and St. Louis Catholic Academy, Missouri. Also, I am teaching Algebra 1
for 9th and 10th graders at Red River Charter Academy, Louisiana. Here in the Philippines, I am a
Senior High School and College instructor at STI College Koronadal for six (6) months now.
With all these experiences, I was able to develop technological skills since we are deeply
immersed in different online teaching and learning platforms that we are using during live classes.
Aside from that, I was able to develop my communication skills especially in English language
since I am teaching American students. Furthermore, I became innovative in designing my
lessons because I have been introduced to different curriculums both in the Philippines and in the
USA. I may not be able to teach English in a formal classroom setup, but I have been a private
English tutor for primary learners here in the Philippines.
For six years I have become a flexible and innovative teacher because I have been exposed to
different grade levels and different curriculums. I was able to deal with different personality and
races which made me develop my interpersonal skills.
Warm regards,
