Today we are going to read a dialog. But before we read,


what are the things that we should remember when reading
aloud? The boys will read the dialog of Cindy while the girls
will read the dialog of the mother.

The Teacher will ask the pupils based from the dialog.

1. What did Cindy says when she saw her mother in the “Cindy says Good morning to her
morning? mother.”

2. Did her mother allow Cindy to go with her? What did her “She is sorry because she cannot

and See you later are polite expressions.

Greetings – Message that expresses good wishes to someone.


We say our greetings to welcome our visitors.
Example: Good Morning, Teacher John.

Gratitude – Expresses thankfulness.


Example: Thank you very much for giving me a chocolate.

Apology – An expression showing regret.


Example: I’m sorry I did not mean to hurt you.

Offering – An act of giving.


Example: Giving of gifts when someone celebrates birthday.
