1st scene
(maria clara reading crisosto’s letter in a chair by the window)
Crisosto Ibarra: Sa aking iniirog..

(INSERT SCENE CRISOSTO WAVING AT MARIA CLARA BELOW THE


STAIRS)

Crisosto: MARIA CLARA! (smiling)

Maria Clara (background audio insert): baka naman sa dami ng


babaeng nakita mo

(insert maria clara smiling at crisosto above the stairs)


Maria Clara: Nakalimutan mo na ako..

Crisosto: patawarin mo ako’t di na nakabalik


(insert scene where while maria reads, a pair of hands cover her eyes)

(transition to the entrance of the church with her eyes stil covered)
Crisosto: tuluyan nang nalunod sa pag-ibig..

(ANG LUBOS NA PAG-IBIG SA SARILI)

Crisoto (background audio): pag-ibig na sa sarili’y nakabubulang..

(insert VICTORINA scene waving her fan)


Victorina: WAG NIYO ‘KONG ITULAD SAINYONG MGA INDIO…

(insert when where KAPITAN TIAGO introduces crisosto at the dinner


table)

Kapitan Tiago: ikinararangal kong ipakilala sa sainyong lahat, si


crisostomo ibarra (smooth transition to all sitting in the dinner table)

Padre Damaso: Ang mga ama, ng mga taong sukab ay pinarurusahan

(smooth transition to the plaza)
(scene where a women gets punched)

Crisosto (audio background): Bulang sa pang-aalipusta..

(circular transition to another woman held by the hands and pinned


down to the ground)

Crisosto (audio background): Abusado..

(circular transition to another woman being faced with a gun in the


head behind her then gets killed)

(transition to a scene of sisa, then basilio wearing a hat throwing paper


into the fire, crisosto walking, a man holding a gun by the philippine
flag, crisosto walking again, crisosto’s hands on the table holding a
knife, fire with the paper, the man holding the gun by the philippine
shoots)

crisosto (audio background): mga mamamatay-tao!
(drums pitch black)

(transition back to the table)


crisosto: sumusubra kana!
(stands up and holds a table, holds padre damaso at the back of his
throat and waves the knife around the table to the other people)
crisosto: lumayo kayo kung hindi niyo ibig mamatay!

(ANG TUNAY NA SANHI NG KAMATAYAN)


Donya Consolasion: Vamos! Magcantar icau!
(donya with a girl in the room, the girl on the floor and sisa beats her
with a belt)

(smooth transition back to the plaza)


girl: nandito na si nanay..nasaan na kayo?
(walking around the plaza in a frantic way)
(transition by the bushes then the woman sits and the ground and yells
for her child)
girl: Mga anak ko!
(downwards transition scene where crisosto runs through the trees)
(background audio): ika’y dugong taksil,
(smooth transition to crisosto by the gate)
(skip to the scene where crisosto gets held with a large knife/bolo by
elias)
(background audio): Eibarramendial!
(smooth transition back to crisosto running again)
(background audio): tumakas ka na bago pa mahuli ang lahat
(transition to the people chasing crisosto with guns)

(ILALAHADNA ANG KATOTOHANAN)


Crisosto: ELIAS! HUWAG!
(a clip where crisosto jumps into the water *not for film just find a clip
of an underwater jump*)

(skip to scene of the zoomed out clip of where crisosto gets held with a
large knife/bolo by elias)
(background audio): ang inyong ama’y namatay sa bilangguan
(smooth transition to elias holding a gun by the waves)
(background audio): Ang indio’y dapat na mamatay!
(gunshot transition to crisosto chasing elias then falls down and crawls)
(background audio): hulihin ang pugante!
(smooth transition to crisosto standing in front of fire)
(background audio): patay na si ibarra!

(smooth transition to the entrance of the church where padre damaso


kneels down in front of maria clara and cries covering his eyes)
(skip to scene where maria clara was covered by padre damaso’s hands
and he peeks at her a bit)
(background audio): patay na ang indiong iyon!
(transition to crisosto back in the fire)
(transition when padre damaso looks at maria clara while still covering
her eyes)

(transition to crisosto holding a straw hat facing the fire then puts it
down)
(smooth transition to day then the night)
(skip to scene when maria clara raises her fan at padre damaso as he
on the ground)
(pitch black)
(transition to sunset, maria clara and crisosto looking at each other and
they slowly hold hands)
crisosto: Nakakamali ka kung sa tingin moi nilisan kita,
Kahit sa pagkat kahit sa dulo akoi natalo,
Araw araw ay sayo lamang ako
