TD Visa Olympic Games Paris 2024 Contest Rules (the “Contest

Rules”)
1. CONTEST PERIOD: The TD Visa Olympic Games Paris 2024 Contest (the “Contest”)
begins at 12:00 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on March 27th, 2024 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on April
26th, 2024 (the “Contest Period”). The sponsor of the Contest is The Toronto-Dominion Bank,
TD North Tower, 77 King Street West, 9th floor, Toronto, ON M5K 1A2 (“TD"). The contest
administrator for this Contest is Visa Canada Corporation, 77 King St West, 44th floor, Toronto,
ON M5K 1A2 (the "Contest Administrator").
2. ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open to all residents of Canada who:
a) are either:
(i) the primary cardholder of a 1) TD First Class Travel® Visa Infinite* Card; 2) TD Platinum
Travel Visa* Card; or 3) TD Rewards Visa* Card;
OR
(ii) the primary business cardholder1 of a TD Business Travel Visa* Card; (each an
"Eligible TD Visa Card" and collectively the "Eligible TD Visa Cards");
AND
b) who are of the legal age of majority in their province/territory of residence at the time of entry
into the Contest (each an "Eligible Participant").

The following individuals and their household members are not eligible to enter the Contest:
employees, agents, and representatives of each of (i) TD, (ii) its subsidiaries and affiliates, and (iii)
any and all other companies associated with the administration of the Contest including the
Contest Administrator and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates.

Primary business cardholder is the individual business person responsible for the annual fee for
the TD Business Travel Visa Card.

3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: No purchase necessary. "Entrant" means the Eligible


Participant who, during the Contest Period, enters the Contest through either Method A or
Method B set out below:

Method A – TD Rewards Points Redemption: To obtain one (1) entry by redeeming TD


Rewards Points, an Entrant must: 1) Visit TDVisaParisContest.ca and fully complete and submit
a Contest entry form (each an "Entry" and collectively the "Entries") with: (a) their full name as
it appears on their Eligible TD Visa Card (and, if their Eligible TD Visa Card is a TD Business
Travel Card, the name of their business as it appears on their TD Business Travel Card); (b) the
last four (4) digits of their Eligible TD Visa Card; (c) their email address ; and (d) their phone
number including area code; and 2) through their Eligible TD Visa Card account, redeem a
minimum of one (1) TD Rewards Point via the TD.com redemption site towards any one (1) of
the eligible redemption options under the TD Rewards Program. Redemptions must be valid
and not subject to chargebacks, returns or cancellations.

NOTE: Where the Eligible Participant has one (1) or more authorized cardholders or one (1) or
more additional cardholders, as applicable, on their Eligible TD Visa Card account, any
redemption made by such authorized cardholder or additional cardholder for any of the eligible

redemption options set out above, will be sufficient to result in an Entry for the Entrant into the
Contest.

Method B – No Purchase Necessary: To obtain one (1) entry without redeeming TD Rewards
Points, an Entrant must: 1) Visit TDVisaParisContest.ca and fully complete and submit a
Contest entry form (each an "Entry" and collectively the "Entries") with: (a) their full name as it
appears on their Eligible TD Visa Card (and, if their Eligible TD Visa Card is a TD Business
Travel Card, the name of their business as it appears on their TD Business Travel Card); (b) the
last four (4) digits of their Eligible TD Visa Card; (c) their email address ; and (d) their phone
number including area code; (collectively the "Entrant's Info") and 2) send an email to
TDVisaParisContest@behaviour.com with: (a) a copy of the Entrant's Info; and (b) an original
essay written by the Entrant of no more than 500 words describing why financial literacy is
important for Canadian youths; which must be received on or before the end of the Contest
Period. Any duplicate essays or mechanical reproductions will be void and not accepted.

Limit one (1) Entry per Entrant, whether the Entry was obtained by Method A or Method B
and regardless of the number of Eligible TD Visa Cards held by an Entrant or of the number of
TD Rewards Points redemptions (if any) made through their Eligible TD Visa Card account.

4. PRIZE: Courtesy of the Contest Administrator, there is one (1) prize available to be won
consisting of a trip to the Olympic Games Paris 2024 from July 24 to July 28, 2024 (the "Prize")
as fully described below for the winner and one (1) guest (the "Prize Participants"):
A. Two (2) tickets to each of the following Olympic events (collectively the "Events") (ARV
CAD$9,000):
o Rugby sevens (RU702) on July 25th, 2024 at 2:00 PM local time
o Opening Ceremony (OOC01) on July 26th, 2024 at 8:00 PM local time
o Artistic gymnastics (GAR02) on July 27th, 2024 at 3:30 PM local time
NOTE: The Events are subject to change by the IOC/COC.
B. Two (2) First-class Round-Trip Tickets to Paris departing from Canada on July 24th and
returning on July 28th, 2024 (ARV CAD $10,000 based on departure from Vancouver,
BC. Actual value may vary depending on winner's departure airport).
C. Four (4) nights double occupancy accommodations at the four-star Hoxton hotel located
at 30-32 Rue du Sentier, 75002 Paris, France (ARV CAD $4,600), plus access to daily
buffet breakfast and light snacks at the Visa Lounge while at the hotel (ARV
CAD$2,000).
D. Return ground transportation via motorcoach from the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris
to the Hoxton hotel (ARV CAD $200). NOTE: Return ground transportation from the
Prize Participants' home to their actual departure airport is not included.
E. Four (4) one-day unlimited metro passes to be used for return ground transportation to
and from all Events (ARV CAD $200).
F. Two (2) Paris "Hop-on, Hop-off" Tourist Passes (ARV CAD $200)
G. A prepaid Visa gift card of €400 (ARV CAD$580 based on the foreign exchange rate in
place as of February 6, 2024).
Note: Approximate retail value of the Prize is $26,780 CAD based on two (2) first-class
round-trip tickets to Paris, France, from Vancouver (YVR) to Paris (CDG). Actual value may
vary depending on winner's departure airport.

5. PRIZE CONDITIONS:
Prize consists only of the items specifically listed as part of the Prize, must be accepted
as awarded and cannot be substituted, transferred, assigned, or redeemed for cash or
otherwise. TD and the Contest Administrator reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to
substitute a prize of greater or equivalent monetary value if the Prize cannot be awarded as
described for any reason. Prize will be delivered to the verified winner only. TD and the Contest
Administrator will not replace any lost or stolen Prize.
Any other costs, applicable fees, taxes (including any federal or provincial taxes), or
expenses associated with the Prize not specified herein will be the responsibility of the
Prize Participants including without limitation: Return ground transportation from the Prize
Participants' home to their departure airport; meals; communication charges; room service;
gratuities; optional tours; insurance and medical travel documents; translation services; and
additional spending money not included in the Prize. All included transportation is subject to
availability, government restrictions and regulations, airline, airport or other transportation
restrictions and regulations. Other restrictions may apply. TD and the Contest Administrator will
not be responsible if weather conditions, event cancellations, or other factors beyond TD's
and/or the Contest Administrator's reasonable control prevent the Prize or part of the Prize from
being awarded and/or fulfilled, and winner will not be entitled to compensation in lieu thereof.
Prize Participants must have no restrictions on his/her/their ability to travel or to fully participate
in the Prize or the Prize may be forfeited, in whole or in part and may, at TD's and/or the Contest
Administrator's discretion, be awarded to an alternate Entrant. Prize Participants are
responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documentation and permissions and must travel
on the same itinerary on the dates and times provided by the travel carriers. Prize Participants
must stay at the accommodations as determined by TD and/or the Contest Administrator in their
sole discretion, and all travel must commence on July 24th, 2024. None of the Released Parties,
as defined below in Section 8, will be responsible if Prize Participants are denied entry to any
Event, refused boarding at any time by the airline or airport security onto any aircraft, either at
the destination airport or return entry to the Prize Participants' departure airport. In any such
situation, the Prize Participants will be responsible for any and all additional costs incurred.
Prize Participants must obey all airport, accommodations, and Events rules and requirements,
including any requirement by the accommodations to present a major credit card. Failure to
follow such rules and requirements may result in, without limitation, ejection from the applicable
Event, non-admission to accommodations, and/or forfeiture of all or any part of the Prize. Any
unused of the Prize will be forfeited.
The Prize including all Event and travel arrangements will be made by the Contest
Administrator. Some restrictions may apply. Final Event arrangements may be subject to
changes by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). All ticketing for travel, Events,
and any other included ticketed items, will be subject to the terms and conditions
specified by the respective ticket issuers.
Travel arrangements will be made by the Contest Administrator for the specific travel dates of
July 24th to July 28th, 2024 on a carrier of the Contest Administrator's choice. No changes to the

Prize, including the destination, Prize Participant names, or travel dates will be accepted once
flights are confirmed. Prize is not valid for any other dates and no extensions will be permitted.
The Prize Participants will each be required to sign and return a declaration & release form
releasing the Released Parties from any liability in connection with this Contest or the use,
misuse, awarding or possession of any part of the Prize and consenting to the use of their
names, city/province or territory of residence, picture, biographical information, statements,
voice and likeness in any advertising and publicity TD and/or the Contest Administrator may
conduct relating to the Contest in any media and format, whether now known or hereafter
developed, including but not limited to the World Wide Web, at any time or times in perpetuity,
without further compensation or notice; and otherwise comply with these Official Rules (the
“Declaration & Release Form”).

Winner may only travel with a minor guest if the guest is their legal child, in which case, the
Declaration & Release Form for the minor guest must be signed by the winner, who is their
parent/legal guardian.

6. DRAW DATE: One (1) random draw for the Prize will be held in Toronto, ON at 10:00 AM
ET on June 3rd, 2024 (the “Draw”). The odds of winning will depend on the total number of
eligible Entries received.

7. PRIZE AWARDING: If an Entrant is the selected Entrant in the Draw, such Entrant will be
provided specific instructions on what they are required to do in order to claim the Prize. The Prize
will be awarded only upon verification and final approval by TD. No communication will be entered
into with any Entrants except with the selected Entrant(s).

Attempts will be made to contact the selected Entrant, based on the contact information provided
at the time of entry, for a period of four (4) business days following the Draw date. If the selected
Entrant cannot be contacted within the allotted time, TD reserves the right to void that Entry and
select another eligible Entrant for the Prize. In order to be declared an official winner, the
selected Entrant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without
mechanical or other assistance. The selected Entrant and their guest will be required to
complete, sign and return a Declaration & Release Form within the timelines provided by TD
and/or the Contest Administrator. If the selected Entrant fails to complete, sign and return the
Declaration & Release Form within the timelines provided by TD and/or the Contest
Administrator and/or provides an incorrect answer to the mathematical skill-testing question, TD
and/or the Contest Administrator reserves the right to void that Entry and select another eligible
Entrant for the Prize.

8. CONTEST GENERAL RULES: By entering the Contest, Entrants agree to abide and be
bound by these Contest Rules and the decisions of TD and the Contest Administrator, which are
final. All entries become the property of TD and will not be returned, and no correspondence will be
made with or entered into except with the selected Entrant(s). All Entrants and the Prize
Participants release and forever discharge each of the Contest Administrator and TD, their
advertising and promotional agencies, and their respective affiliated companies and all of their

respective officers, directors, employees, and agents as well as all other companies associated
with the Contest including the International Olympic Committee (IOC) (the “Released Parties”)
from all claims, demands, damages, actions and causes of action arising or that could arise by
reason of his/her/their participation in the Contest and/or the administration of the Contest,
including, without limitation, the selection and awarding of the Prize.

By entering the Contest, each Entrant agrees that the Released Parties have not made, with
respect to each of their own products/services provided as the Prize or part thereof (if
applicable), any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with
respect to the Prize and that they specifically disclaim all such warranties, including without
limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

By entering the Contest, Entrants give permission to TD and the Contest Administrator, at their
option, to publish or otherwise use the Entrant’s name, address, photograph, voice and comments,
without compensation, in any publicity carried out by TD and/or the Contest Administrator or their
advertising agencies (as applicable) where such Entrant is declared to be the winner of the Prize.

TD reserves the right, in its sole discretion to terminate the Contest, in whole or in part, or modify,
amend or suspend the Contest and/or the Contest Rules in any way at any time for any reason,
without prior notice or compensation.

BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, ENTRANTS AGREE THAT THE RELEASED PARTIES


HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY ENTRANTS
AGAINST, ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND
(INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR SPECIAL
DAMAGES), HOWSOEVER ARISING, INCLUDING BY NEGLIGENCE, TO PERSONS OR
PROPERTY RESULTING FROM ENTRY OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST INCLUDING
THE AWARDING OR USE OF THE PRIZE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE
EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; THEREFORE
SUCH EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO ENTRANTS.

9. DISQUALIFICATION: The Released Parties are not responsible for lost or misdirected
Entries, interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed
telephone or computer or telephone transmissions or technical failure, jumbled, scrambled, or
misdirected transmissions, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic.
Any Entrant found tampering with, undermining or abusing any aspect of this Contest, as
determined by TD and/or the Contest Administrator, will be disqualified. In the event any portion of
this Contest is compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes
beyond the control of TD and/or the Contest Administrator, which, in the sole opinion of TD and/or
the Contest Administrator, corrupts, or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper entry
into the Contest, TD and the Contest Administrator reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to
suspend or terminate this Contest, or to amend the Rules of the Contest.

10. APPLICABLE LAWS: This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and
municipal laws and is void where prohibited. Except where prohibited by law, all issues and
questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Contest
Rules or the rights and obligations as between an Entrant and TD in connection with the Contest

shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario and the
laws of Canada applicable therein, including procedural provisions, without giving effect to any
choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other
jurisdiction’s laws. Any litigation must be commenced in the City of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

11. PRIVACY: By entering this Contest, Entrants consent to the collection, use and sharing of
information about them by TD with third parties, including the Contest Administrator, and by the
Contest Administrator with third parties, for the purpose of administering this Contest and Prize
fulfillment, in accordance with the TD Privacy Code at www.td.com/privacy and the Visa Privacy
Policy at: https://www.visa.ca/en_CA/legal/global-privacy-notice.html.
