I am writing this letter to express my interest in ‘Social worker’ position announced at Acbar jobs
webpage vacancy number BHHO-3-24. I thoroughly explored the opportunities provided by
(BHHO); therefore, I am extremely delighted to apply for. My skills up to date as well as having
experience in the sector are main motivations, which moved me forward to apply for this
position.I am a Diploma holder at nursing and worked as a Social worker two years year at
Organization of Technical cooperation for Community Development (OTCD) and also worked as a

Social worker for one year at Youth Health and Development Organization (YHDO ) and
have perfect skill in this field. I am native in Pashto, fluent in Dari and English. Beside my
major I have a perfect skill of MS. Office which facilitate a good reporting, analyzing data.

Major Responsibilities of OTCD:


 Respect internal organization rules.
 Respect to working hours (Business time)
 Work in line with the OTCD, MoPH and Donor policies and procedures.
 Establish good working relation and an effective cooperation and coordination mechanism
with local communities, authorities and influential individuals.
 Ensuring of excellent communication with team and target group.
 Decreasing the risk of harm reduction in community.
 Capacity building of staff through providing on job and refresher trainings regarding COVID
-19.
 Establish an effective and good working referral mechanism with relevant organization and
service delivery outlets.
 Timely delivery of the ARV and OST medicines to PLHIV and KPs.
 Screening of PLHIV and KPs for COVID-19 signs and symptoms, in case of positive signs,
referral to lab for test
 Regular follow up and timely communication with PLHIV and KPs
 Provision of counselling and relevant information for protection against COVID-19
 Provision of training to health facility staff/Peer workers at provincial level
 Visit the PLHIV and KPs home for ensuring the proper use of ARV medicine and manage the
adverse reaction and its side effects
 Provision of hand sanitizers, masks and gloves for prevention of COVID 19
 Conduction of Rapid tests in the community for KPs who are quarantine
 Record and report issues, challenges and complaint of PLHIV and KPs
 Identify and prepare list of targeted areas
 Complete and update all job related forms and records as well as provision of monthly report
with other team members
 Establishing a well-coordinated and cooperative network with local communities, police and
security workers
 Ensure the confidentiality of client information
 Field visit as per the approved plan
 Prepare monthly activities report to his/her line manager
 Perform other related activities assigned by his line manager
