This study uses a survey questionnaire to gather data on the confidence and resilience of BS
Accountancy students. The survey uses a five-point Likert Scale to measure respondents'
agreement with the statements provided. The self-assurance scale measures students' confidence
in their ability to succeed and resilience in facing challenges. The study also explores students'
perceptions of qualifying examinations as a competitive advantage in their academic and
professional pursuits. Key factors influencing self-assurance include personal attributes,
educational environment, and socio-cultural factors. Academic performance data, including
GPA, qualifying exam scores, and class rankings, will be collected from academic records. The
research aims to validate and ensure the reliability of instruments used, including content
validation by experts in education, psychology, and accountancy, pilot testing with a small
sample of BS Accountancy students, and reliability analysis.
