Case Study #2
Security is the main goal to protect and secure the important assets. Threats or attacks can lead to
complications which affects to everything. In regards to technology, it’s inevitable to avoid these such
threats in web but they still trying to improve the precautions to reduce the harm on the users of the
web.

Government plays a vital role in facilitating the security and assures the peace and order in their
jurisdiction. Regarding to the government who needed to control or either censor such contents in the
web, we may think that it will contradict the freedom of information which is one of the privileges of the
citizens. These two countries think about the possible threat that can lead into such problems that they
could encounter if they don’t take precautionary measures earlier which we think it’s us for own good.
But it is a disadvantage when it took off limits on the privacy of its users like what Chinese government
trying to do.

It is a big impact on the U.S companies to those governments who try to censor contents from it.
It could take such small steps in able to deal with it such as legal actions which is understanding the
policies implemented on specific country and take assurance of transparency and security on how they
will deal on possible unexpected threats in the web, but either way if it is still strict, they can nothing
that they can do but to withdraw from the target market.

In our democratic country, web contents it should take an action to reduce such contents that
could address several issues that we encounter. But its individuals’ role also on how they will manage
their responsible usage of web contents. Empowering the education in terms of media literacy is a must
in able to achieve of an individual being responsible user of the web contents.

If e-commerce is existing into a different web for each country could lead in two ways: the good
impact, which will focus on our local made products and supports our local entrepreneurs; the bad thing
is that limiting the resources that could only attain in the other country which is difficult to consumer to
acquiring the needed resources.

Moreover, there is so much to consider in the other countries such as their norms when it
comes to legal and ethical, the culture that they have, their interventions into the challenges that they
are facing which also regards to the web contents but we should respect the strict standards that they
put to ensure the peace and order and tranquility within their jurisdiction.
