CO COURSE OUTCOMES
CO 1 Acquire knowledge about historical and contemporary case studies of human rights violations,
including genocide, ethnic cleansing, and crimes against humanity.
CO 2 Understand the interplay between human rights theory, law, and practice
CO 3 Acquaints with the various International Conventions and Declarations that protects the rights of
people in humanitarian crisis.
CO 4 Ensuring practical knowledge about the rights of the Non-combatants, Prisoners of War, Civilians and
refugees.

The course of Human Rights is designed to prepare for responsible citizenship with awareness of
the relationship between Human Rights, democracy and development and to foster respect for
international obligations for peace and development; to impart education on national and
international regime of Human Rights.
CO 6 Gives a better understanding of International Human Rights Law and National Human Rights Law.
