Waste Management
1. Introduction
Production and environmental garbage are handled on a daily and weekly basis by the
company, thanks to its waste management protocol.

2. Scope
Biodegradable waste from production areas, the surrounding areas of factories, and offices is
covered under this scope.

3. Purpose
This procedure's goal is to ensure that waste management and disposal practices correspond
to GMP and legal requirements.

4. Responsibility
Ensuring that this Procedure is adhered to throughout the plant, is the responsibility of the
hygienist.

5. Procedures
5.1 Waste Disposal
a. There is identification of waste baskets
b. Every employee is expected to reduce the amount of waste produced by their
operations and to properly dispose of any garbage in designated waste areas
or collection containers.
c. The cleaner gathers the garbage from the production floor, offices, and factory
premises every day and places it in special collection containers to be dumped
at the general dump site.
d. Animal feed is made from product wastes that are unsuitable for rework.
e. Baskets for waste are covered while not in use.

5.2 Biodegradable waste (Sack)


i. Sacks are examined as soon as they are received from the supplier, and if any
of them don't match the specifications, they are rejected right away and sent
back to the supplier.
ii. Sample bags are used to pack animal feed and frequently vandalized.
iii. In order to make sure there are no ensuing issues, such as mess or waste that
is not meant for collection being deposited, the hygienist checks the
designated waste collection locations and the disposal area.
iv. The waste agent is monitored by the hygienist during the evacuation.
