The Grammar Translation

Method
1. Why you prefer this method?

I prefer this method because I think I’m good at it.

It is an important section of the English language, and students
Must understand it well to be able to speak this language.
2. Your main goals as a teacher adopting this method?

One of my goals is to teach and explain everything related to the grammar

section so that every information reaches the student easily and he can
understand everything. This is done using many modern teaching methods,
such as the use of educational drawings, videos, and audio recordings.
According to the teachers who use the Grammar-Translation Method, a
fundamental purpose of learning a language is to be able to read literature
written in the target language. To do this , students need to learn about the
grammar rules and vocabulary of the target languages. In addition, it is
believed that studying another language provides students with good
mental exercise, which helps develop their minds.
3. Your role as a teacher as well as your student’s role?

The roles are very traditional. The teacher is the authority in the
classroom. The students do as she says so they can learn what she
knows. Students have to obey and listen to the teacher so that they
can understand everything and learn.
4. What areas of language you are likely to emphasize?

Vocabulary and grammar are emphasized. Reading and writing are the
primary skills that the students work on . There is much less attention given
to speaking and listening. Pronunciation receives little, if any , attention.
5. When one of your students would make an error, how would you respond to her
errors, explain why?

Having the students get the correct answers is considered very important. If students make errors or
do not know an answer, the teacher supplies them with the correct answer
