Welcome to Cambridge Lower Secondary

This guidance is intended for the Cambridge Lower Secondary administrator.

Setting up your access for the Cambridge Lower Secondary support site
You have been registered as the Cambridge Lower Secondary administrator for your school. This means you
can create and maintain usernames and passwords for each of the teachers in your school so that they can
access all resources on the Cambridge Lower Secondary support site.

Please note: This is a secure website. If your school offers Cambridge Lower Secondary, you will receive an
email from noreply@cambridgeinternational.org with a link to set up your password for your account. Your
username is your email address. If you have not received this email, or if you are not sure whether your school
offers Cambridge Lower Secondary, please contact us.

Once you are logged on to the site you will be able to access the ‘Help’ section which will guide you through
using each aspect of the site, including how to register your colleagues and add their classes onto the analysis
tool.

Access to teacher support resources

As a school that offers Cambridge Lower Secondary, you have access to a wide range of support resources
that we have developed to help schools and teachers use the programme. These resources include:

 curriculum frameworks for English, English as a second language (a new curriculum framework),
mathematics, science and Cambridge Global Perspectives
 schemes of work and teaching resources
 recommended and endorsed published resources (as these become available)
 Cambridge Lower Secondary Progression Tests to be downloaded and used within your school when
required
 an online analysis tool which allows you to track learner progress and identify strengths and
weaknesses of both individual learners and groups.

Cambridge Lower Secondary online self-study course

Our ‘Introduction to Cambridge Lower Secondary’ online course provides teachers with an excellent
introduction to the programme. As a newly-registered school, you have one year’s free access to the course.

The course is aimed at teachers who are new to Cambridge Lower Secondary but will also provide a useful
induction to the programme and materials available for schools.
