Regulatory Situation

PMD® has been notified under the European Biocidal Products Directive (BPD)
98/8/EC and is in the final stages of evaluation under the European Union’s
Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR).

For India, I believe,we need to register it under house hold Bio-

pesticides under the Insecticides Act, 1968.

• Methyl Hydrogenated Rosinate

resin acids and rosin acids hydrogenated methyl esters.

• Methyl Hydrogenated Rosinate, a cosmetic-grade resin, is the

methyl ester of hydrogenated gum rosin. This liquid resin is given
a special steam-sparging treatment to assure minimum odor. With
its low odor and low vapor pressure, it is particularly useful as a
fragrance fixative. It has excellent solubility and compatibility
with non-polar and many polar ingredients in cosmetic
applications, contributing both adhesion and gloss.
