 On December 5, 2023, Rockstar released the
first official trailer for GTA 6 and confirmed
that the game will be released in 2025. There
is no specific date and, for now, what we know
is that it will arrive first on next-generation
consoles.

As we discovered in April 2020, this GTA 6

will be more restrained in terms of its content
and will grow over time through regular
updates. The main objective seems to be to
mitigate the stress and crunch that the studio
employees suffered with the enormous Red
Dead Redemption 2.
 It doesn't mean that it won't be a large GTA,
but it probably won't be as ambitious as its
fifth installment, where there were three
protagonists and, therefore, three intertwined
stories. And with content that has not stopped
being renewed during all these years, with
million-dollar sales.

It is worth remembering, on the other hand,

that Dan Houser, one of the founders of the
studio and screenwriter of the GTA saga and
other Rockstar Games productions,
abandoned ship on March 11, 2020, after more
than 20 years of work.
 On the 18th In September 2022, a leak
occurred after a hack that led to the
publication of 90 videos and images of GTA 6
in a not very advanced development phase (it
is estimated that these materials could belong
to an alpha version from 2019).

This is all we know about the culprit behind

the GTA 6 hack: arrests, accusations and a
long criminal history. Rumors claimed that
there would be a female protagonist and it has
finally been confirmed. This time we will have
two characters at our disposal: Lucía and the
aforementioned Jason.
 On the other hand, a very small fragment of its
map was leaked on 4chan, with two islands
practically joined together. We won't know if it
will end up being part of the game, but it's
worth remembering that Red Dead
Redemption 2's map was leaked before its
launch... Anything is possible.

There is an important detail in this supposed

leak, ensuring that the game will not be as
realistic as Red Dead Redemption 2, but
rather will be halfway there, with more
arcadey bits. Now, the curious thing is that we
would enjoy a vehicle similar to the horse in
this Wild West game, by storing all our
belongings in its trunk. It's as if we had a
portable base.
 Adverse weather conditions will have a
greater weight in this GTA 6, apparently,
suffering from all types of inclement weather,
such as hurricanes, floods...
On the other hand, it is rumored that it will
have a construction mode similar to that of
GTA: Vice City Stories, but enhanced, where
we can create our drug empire from scratch
and take it to its peak.

And this will surely consume many hours. And

yes, it is also mentioned that there will be a
gigantic prison that will have a special role for
a good stretch of the game. It is what fits the
most, without a doubt, and makes us have
high expectations about its launch.
