LESSON PLAN
Topic: School days.

Level: Upper beginner. Age: Teenager 10 – 12.

Length: 45 minutes.

Language Skills: Vocabulary, grammar, TESOL Methodology: TPR, natural approach, lexical approach,
pronunciation, speaking, listening. grammar translation approach

Lesson Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to :

- Remember and know how to use the vocabulary to describe the daily routine at school and at home.

- Know the structure of have to/has to and how to use it in different contexts.

- Talk about things that are necessary or compulsory

Resources: flashcards, cue cards, sticky balls, marker, board, blu-tack, pieces of paper

 Next, teacher will ask the class to repeat 5
times, check pronunciation in groups and
individuals.
 After that, teacher will stick the word that
students had repeated on the board and
continue with another word from step 2

- Practice activity: the teacher divides the class


into 2 teams, teacher takes turn to show them a
sentence that left a blank, they have to choose
“have/has” or “do/does” (written on the board)
to fill in the blank. Students must read the
whole sentence after throwing the sticky ball to
the correct word, the faster one will get a point.

- Teacher asks students to check their


understanding again.

Homework

Back-up 7-up Students will gather into the circle -> the
teacher will point to the random student and
ask him/her to start counting from 1 and
choose the direction. And the next student in
the counting direction will count 2 and so on,
till the student who have to count to 7, instead
of counting 7, he/she will raise his/her hand up,
and the next person will start to count 1 again.

The student who counts wrong number or


count number 7 will be eliminated
