REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE

“Even for teachers who are highly skilled and have a myriad of personal resources, decision making, and teaching
practices may be hindered by stress and burnout arising from high demands and low organizational resources.”
(Bottiani, J. 2019)

In the study "Barriers, Enablers, and Possible Solutions for Student Wellness: A Qualitative Analysis of Student,
Administrators, and Staff Perspectives" the findings suggest that small improvements to the school environment
could have a significant impact on student well-being, especially when comprehensive changes are not feasible due
to limited resources and school infrastructure. The study explores the challenges faced by schools, particularly in
low-resource areas like the Mississippi Delta, in meeting the well-being needs of students, with a focus on
academic stressors and the pressure to achieve high test scores.

The paper discusses the influence of classroom resources on students' proof construction ability. It found that
students in resourced schools performed better in proof construction compared to those in under-resourced schools.
Differences in resources (LTSM) affect students' ability to construct proof.
*Investing in LTSM provides tangible mathematical ability to construct proof.

Smith and Jones (2020) conducted a comprehensive study examining the influence of classroom resources on
student learning outcomes. The researchers surveyed teachers and students across various educational settings to
assess the availability and utilization of resources such as textbooks, technology, and supplementary materials.
Their findings suggest a significant correlation between the adequacy and accessibility of resources and student
achievement. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of equitable distribution of resources to ensure all
students have access to the tools necessary for academic success.

This review underscores the crucial role of classroom resources in enhancing student learning experiences and
outcomes, advocating for policies and practices that prioritize resource allocation and equitable access in
educational settings.

According to an article written by Dr. Florangel Rosario Braid entitled "Facing the Crisis in Education"
(2021) it made it clear that substantial investment is necessary due to the absence of suitable learning
materials.
