REASON

This Variation aims at providing instructions and airworthiness limitations resulting from

It also aims at deleting the following ALI tasks applicable to Single Aisle NEO Pylon:

COMPLIANCE TIME

The content of this Variation will be introduced in next ALS Revision. Airbus anticipates that a
dedicated Airworthiness Directive (AD) will be subsequently released. The compliance chapter
of this future AD will give an implementation period for introduction in the Operators approved
Maintenance Program (OMP) of the new or revised instructions and airworthiness limitations
introduced by the next ALS Revision. Airbus recommends anticipating the introduction of the
changes introduced by this Variation at first Operator’s opportunity in order to anticipate future
AD requirements.
Maintenance tasks will also be mandated by the AD associated to next ALS Revision and are
to be accomplished prior to the new/revised thresholds and/or intervals provided in this
Variation except for the items listed in the below table. For these items listed in the table below,
a compliance time is provided for aircraft that have already exceeded or are close to exceeding
the new or revised thresholds and/or intervals. In such a case, maintenance tasks in SECTION
3 are to be accomplished prior to the new/revised thresholds and/or intervals provided in this
Variation or by the compliance time provided for each item, whichever occurs later. When
applicable, the compliance time deadlines are indicated in the table below as advanced
information for Operators in order to anticipate future AD requirements.

VALIDITY

Instructions and airworthiness limitations stated in this Variation may be negated by

instructions and airworthiness limitations published in (a) Variation(s) or a Revision subsequent
to the approval date of this Variation. In such case, the validity of affected instructions and
airworthiness limitations stated in this Variation is suspended.
All other instructions and airworthiness limitations given in the A318/A319/A320/A321 ALS Part
2 Revision 10 issue 03 and other current Variations remain applicable.

DESCRIPTION

The approved changes to the mandatory instructions and airworthiness limitations provided in
the A318/A319/A320/A321 ALS Part 2 Revision 09, SECTION 3 and 4 can be found in the
