The management aspect discuss various elements such as the firm’s name,
organizational type, vision, mission, goals, organizational structure, human resources, job
roles and requirements, recruitment processes, policies, project schedules, and management
feasibility.

TYPE OF ORGANIZATION

The Banana Balls is a partnership type of organization which is owned by four people
specifically by Ms. Ellen Joy Mansueto, Mr. Rhean Zaballa, Mr. Khent Ompad, and Ms.
Harmee Kyle Alolor. It is specifically a general partnership because the partners will be
responsible in management and the financial responsibilities of the partnership. The two
owners will share in all the profit of the business. The profit will be equally divided. We
choose partnership because it is inexpensive to start and less expenses.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATIONS

The following are the responsibilities and requirement of each member of the company.

Chef/Production Associate

Job Description: The Chef/Production Associate is a key role in the success of a


Product. They are responsible for preparing and maintaining the quality of the food
products, ensuring sanitary and hygienic conditions in the kitchen. They work closely
with the Kitchen Manager and the other staff members to achieve the Restaurant’s
goals.

Job Qualifications:

 Adhering to safety and sanitation standards


 Preparing food according to recipes and guidelines
 Ensuring consistency and quality control
 Supervising and mentoring staff members
 Handling equipment and tools safely and efficiently
 Keeping a clean and organized workstation

Assistant Chef/Production Assistant

Job Description: The Assistant Chef/Production Assistant is a member of the kitchen team
who helps the Chef in ensuring the quality and consistency of the food products. They work
closely with the Chef to prepare and arrange the ingredients and equipment, and to assist in
keeping the kitchen clean and organized. They also assist the Chef in managing staff
members, ensuring the workflow is efficient and effective.

Job Qualifications:

 Helping the Chef in managing kitchen tasks


 Ensuring quality control of ingredients and food preparation
 Assisting the Chef in preparing food for service

Cashier/Sales Associate

Job Description: The Cashier/Sales Associate is a front-end role responsible for handling
the customers’ payment at the register, processing transactions, and ensuring the smooth
flow of the customers. They are also responsible for providing customer service and
fulfilling requests from the customer.

Job Qualifications:

 Providing excellent customer service and handling customer queries


 Taking payments and processing transactions
 Making sure the product stock is kept updated
 Managing cash floats and cash register
 Assisting customers with purchases, returns and exchanges

Customer Service Representative

Job Description: The Customer Service Representative is a critical role responsible for
assisting the customers and resolving their queries. They are the first point of contact for the
customers and act as a liaison between the customers and the product they represent. They are
responsible for providing timely and satisfactory responses to the customers, ensuring the
customer’s satisfaction and retaining their loyalty.

Job Qualifications:

 Handling customer queries and concerns


 Answering questions and complaints
 Resolving customer issues and providing advice
 providing information about the services and products
 providing support for online and offline communication
Packaging Associate

Job Description: The Packaging Associate is a key role responsible for ensuring the safe
and secure packaging of products for distribution and transportation. It is also an important
role in the supply chain of a product, ensuring that the products reach their ultimate
destination without any damage or loss.

Job Qualifications:

 Ensuring proper packaging of the products and materials


 Ensuring the safety and security of the products during the packaging process
 Ensuring timely and accurate packaging and shipping of products
 Ensuring quality control of the packaged product
 Ensuring the accurate documentation of the packaging process.

Delivery Associate

Job Description: The Delivery Associate is a key role responsible for the last-mile delivery
of products to the customers. It is a crucial role in the supply chain as it ensures the prompt
delivery of products to the customers. In this role, the Deliver Associate ensures that the
products reach the customers in the best possible condition and in a timely manner.

Job Qualifications:

 Ensuring timely and safe delivery of products to the customers


 Ensuring proper documentation of the delivery process
 Ensuring the proper storage and handling of the products
 Ensuring customer satisfaction and providing information.

Helper

Job Description: Helpers are important members of the kitchen team who assist the other
members of the kitchen. They help with the smaller tasks such as Cleaning the kitchen,
Washing the dishes, and helping out the Chef and the Assistant Chef. They also work as an
extra set of hands to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Job Qualifications:

 Cleaning the kitchen


 *Washing the dishes
 Assisting the Chef and Assistant Chef with cooking duties
 Ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen.

RECRUITMENT, SELECTION AND HIRING OF WORKERS

1. Recruitment planning
It is where the vacant position are analysed and describe. It includes job specifications
and it's nature. The potential employee should be qualified, experienced with capability to take
responsibilities required to achieve the objective of the organization.

2. Strategy development

This is on how or which strategy to adopt for recruiting the potential employee for the
organization.

3. Searching

Once the line manager verifies and permits the existence of the vacancy, the search for
potential employee starts.

4. Screening

It is where the process of filtering the applications of the potential employee for
further selection process.

5. Evaluation and control

The effectiveness and the validity of the process and methods are assessed.

Selection/Hiring of workers

1. Preliminary interview

There is an initial meeting to gather basic information about how an application goals,
skills and qualifications can benefit a company's needs.

2. Receiving applications

Once the individual qualifies the preliminary interview he is required to fill in the
applications form in the prescribed format. This application contains the candidate data such as age,
qualifications, experience, etc. This information helps the interview to get the fair idea about the
candidate and formulate questions to get more information about him.

3. Screening application

Once the applications are received, these are screened by the committee, who then
prepare a list of those applicants whom they find suitable for the interview. The shortlisting criteria
could be the age, sex, qualifications, experience of an individual. Once the list is prepared, the
qualified candidates are called for the interview either through a registered mail or e-mails.

4. Employment tests
In order to check the mental ability and skill set of an individual, several tests are
conducted. Such as intelligence tests, aptitude tests, interest tests, psychological tests, personality
tests, etc. These tests are conducted to judge the suitability of the candidate for the job

5. Employment interview

The one on one session with the candidate is conducted to gain more insights about
him. Here, the interview asks questions from the applicants to discover more about him and to give
him the accurate picture of the kind of a job he is required to perform.

6. Checking reference

The firms usually ask for the references from the candidate to across check the
authentication of the information provided by him. These reference could be from the education
institute from where the candidate has completed his studies or from his previous employment
where has was formerly engaged. These reference are checked to know the conduct and behavior of
an individual and also his potential of learning new jobs.

7. Medical examination

Here the physical and mental fitness of the candidate are checked to ensure that he is
capable of performing the job.

Thus, this stage is not rigid and can take place anywhere in the process. The medical
examination is an important step in the selection process as it helps in ascertaining the applicant's
physical ability to fulfil the job requirements.

8. Final selection

The candidate who qualifies all the rounds of a selection process is given the
appointment letter to join the firm.

Thus, the selection is complex and a lengthy process as it involves several stage than
an individual has to qualify before getting finally selected for the job.

6. Resignation policy

Process of Resignation

a. Notification: Inform your immediate supervisor or manager of your decision


to resign verbally, preferably in a face-to-face meeting. This allows for a personal and
professional discussion about your decision.

b. Formal Resignation Letter: Submit a formal resignation letter to your


supervisor or HR department. The letter should include your intended last day of work and
express gratitude for the opportunity to work at Banana Balls.

c. Discussion of Transition: Discuss with your supervisor any pending tasks,


projects, or responsibilities that need to be transitioned to another team member. Offer
assistance in training or handing over your duties to ensure a smooth transition.

d. Exit Interview (if applicable): Participate in an exit interview if the company


conducts them. This is an opportunity to provide feedback about your experience working at
Banana Balls and share any insights that could benefit the organization.

e. Return of Company Property: Return any company-owned property, such as


laptops, access badges, or company-owned documents, before your last day of work.

f. Farewell and Goodbye: On your last day, take the time to say goodbye to
