A 200 mm diameter firefighting PVC water pipe line buried
1.5m deep onto the ground was hit by an excavator bucket

Pipe was repaired accordingly.

An unforeseen 160mm diameter PVC potable water pipe line
buried 50cm deep onto the ground was hit by an excavator Sec. 15

bucket during excavation works that was necessary for duct (6F1)
bank installation.

A portable water pipe (1 inch) was hit during laying foundation

of a street light pole.

A sudden gush of water from an unknown source was noticed

on the ground. Water was flowing continuously and as a result
minor flooding was experienced at site. As per investigation,
the source of water leakage was from a 400mm PVC potable

water pipeline buried 2 meters onto the ground with damage at
the bottom part. There was not any activity in the area of
incident, and it was a non-working area, i.e. the pipe was not
exposed or disturbed.

An excavator bucket hit a live 33KV MV cable buried

approximately 1 meter onto the ground. As a consequence, the

cable's outer sheath was damaged with its internal coils
intact/unharmed. No injury resulted.

A dangerous occurrence was reported involving telecom cut

cable during Excavation for Electrical duct bank at LS Line 6

Section 19. The said underground service was accidentally
caught by the Excavator jackhammer during the excavation.
