Re: REQUEST FOR AUTHORITY TO ENGAGE IN THE PRIVATE PRACTICE OF THE LEGAL PROFES-
SION

MADAM:

The undersigned is the University Legal Officer. Prior to this employment, the undersigned has
been practicing his profession as a private litigator and notary public since 2011.

In view of this, we respectfully request for AUTHORITY TO ENGAGE IN THE PRIVATE PRACTICE
OF THE LEGAL PROFESSION, as college and/or post-graduate professor, a notary public for Zam-
boanga City, and a private counsel before any courts of law, tribunal, and administrative/quasi-
judicial bodies.

This will further enhance the practical skills and knowledge in the law and rules, of the under-
signed, which will redound to the benefit of this University, and the students.

The exercise of this requested authority is subject to the limitations provided for by law, with-
out utilizing government funds and resources, and shall not contravene with the duties and re -
sponsibilities of the undersigned as a public servant.
