Proposed : So internship is proposed in the field of Marketing and finance under share khan LTD .

Description : Share khan is the largest standalone retail brokerage in the country and the third largest
in terms of customer base after ICICI Direct and HDFC Securities. Share khan is one of
the pioneers of online trading in India. Share khan pioneered the online retail broking
industry and leveraged on the first wave of digitization, when dematerialization of
securities came into effect and electronic trading was introduced in the stock exchanges.
Share khan is now a fully owned subsidiary of BNP Paribas. During My training , I have
observed that there is so much of risk in equity market but the return is also high which
implies that risk and return go hand in hand. So mutual funds come into the market and
people now start investing in them for long term investment as they have low risk
compared to equity trading and gives high return in long term. During the SIP tenure ,
interns are supposed to complete 4-6 tasks/projects based on their learnings which
includes till now :- 1. Gather the information of all IPO's of last 5 years and analyse them
by stating which IPO's is doing good and which IPO's have given high rate of return in the
last 5 year . 2. Cold calling where we have to call 100 clients and influence them to be a
partner with share khan programme and open Demat account with share khan. 3. Interns
are required to open their Demat account with sharekhan and will start trading shortly.

Objective : 1. To understand the stock Market. 2. Understanding the Mutual Funds and other types of
Investments. 3.To know the customer behaviour regarding mutual funds. 4. To analyse
why the sharekhan is the leading stock broking company in India. 5. To understand/Know
the various Intra-Day Trading strategies/Methods implemented which would help to
increase profits. For example ( Moving Average Method and diversification).

Methodology : My research will be based on primary and Secondary Data. 1. primary Data is collected
from questionnaire and one to one discussion with various existing customers through
cold calling and analysing their experience in trading and mutual funds. 2.Secondary data
collected from various journals , past records in company and company websites.

Schedule : Schedule of the internship is based on the projects given by the company. Completion of
project suggested by the company mentor is done on daily basis. Every Day we first have
our training in stock market and on alternate days we are given some tasks that need to
be performed during specified time - limit .

Limitations : 1. As our training in sharekhan is only for 1.5 months , so the in - depth knowledge of
every aspect would be missing. 2. Possibility of error in collection of data. 3. Lack of
interaction with the Company Guide. 4. sharekhan offer trading tiger which is official
software for trading that we can't get hand on experience on that software.
