A. What are the materials needed in making the project?
In doing this project I used old modules and papers
or old scratch papers from my jr. high and some old decorations, I only bought glue. At first, I didn’t know what kind of project I would do, but it made me think. I am a person who loves making DIY, especially decorating my room. As Christmas is coming, I want to make a “parol” or a star that we can hang on our walls.
B. What are the steps in making the project?
I made two kinds of Lanterns or "parol".
In doing this first project, first I folded the short-sized paper in half, second I cut them in half and third I glued them together, then repeated. After having that, I cut the tip to make a triangle. For the second project, I only folded it to make a fan-like image and then glued it together. C. What are the significance or contribution of that project to you, to the environment and to the community?
Doing this project, helped me to explore my creativity
and means in finding a way to make such a project without buying many materials. I make use of anything that I have, and this is also echo-friendly in this small project there is a little meaning and symbol behind it, such as the essence of Christmas.
