II – Stage - Model/DSS upgrade and Solution analysis

Consider the following pallet loading problem for a logistics operator.

Every day, a logistics operator's customer sends the quantities of the different articles that are to be
delivered to the customer's distribution center. The items are delivered on mixed pallets (containing
more than one item) according to the following specifications:

- Each pallet may not exceed 1.6 meters in height.

- The pallets have a dimension of 1200x800 mm2 at the base.
- The maximum weight per pallet is 800 kg.
- Overhanging items in relation to the base of the pallet is not permitted.
- Each item placed on a pallet may only have the same item above it.
- The stacks formed by the items on each pallet should have similar heights.

Adapt e implement the model to the logistics operator constraints.
