Teacher’s Day celebration at SMA Negeri 6

 Teacher’s Day 2021 celebration

Teacher’s Day is a celebration that is held once a year, namely on November 25, the
celebration of Teacher’s Day takes the form of respect and appreciation for the important role
of teachers as figures who educate and shape the character of the nation’s next generation.
This celebration is carried out in the form of thanks and appreciation to the teachers for their
services from the students and the entire school community.
For the celebration of Teacher’s Day in 2023, “SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru will hold a
celebration of Teacher’s Day which will be held for two days on the basketball court and
basement of SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru, namely Friday, 24 November 2023 and Monday, 27
November 2023” Abdul Rahman , as one of the teachers at SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru who
took part in the Teacher’s Day celebration meeting, he also said that on the first day of the
Teacher’s Day celebration there would be a competition which would be participated in by
the teachers and supported by the students. “The competitions that will be held include a
senam maumere competition, a karaoke competition and a rujak making competition,

 there will also be a quiz which will be read directly by the principal of SMA Negeri 6
Pekanbaru,” Fuguh Wandiro, one of the teachers at SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru. And on the
second day, a flag ceremony will be held, where the implementers will be teachers and
students as participants in the ceremony. This ceremony starts at 07.00 WIB and after the flag
ceremony is finished, prizes will be given to the competition winners.

Teacher’s Day 2021 celebration

So that the activities that have been prepared can take place well, the OSIS SMA
Negeri 6 Pekanbaru has made various preparations, especially regarding collecting funds
from the proposals that have been prepared which require funds of Rp. 18,330,000.00.
Therefore, the OSIS asked for participation from 39 classes and also teachers, each class was
asked to collect funds of Rp. 470,000.00. “I hope that this year’s Teacher’s Day celebration
can go well and will definitely be even more lively, therefore I also hope that all teachers and
students will participate in this year’s teacher’s celebration,” Abdul Rahman, one of the
teachers at SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru
