1. How significant is the issue regarding safeguarding our national

security? What are the essential measures the Philippines is making to
ensure our national security?

The Philippine’s way of safeguarding our territory is significant to other countries

but for the Philippines in the safest way, in spite of China’s claim in west
Philippine sea the Philippine government did not bother, the Philippines did not
merely bring China to court. Even before filing the case, the government had
already wisely chosen to settle the dispute with an Arbitral Tribunal under Annex
VII of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. Depending on the
Law while making alliance to other countries and improving our defense.

1. Do you agree with the measures our country is taking to ensure our
national security? If yes, what are the reasons to state that the country
is on the right track? If no, what are your suggestions or alternative
measures to secure our national territory?

Yes for me as of right now our country can’t fight against Powerful Countries like
China, Russia, North Korea etc. for me the best thing for our country to resolve
this is we need make a bilateral agreement with China while improving our
defense.

2. As a student, how can you contribute to safeguarding our national

security? What are your everyday activities and actions that reflect our
effort towards national security?

As a student I can help by joining ROTC it is part of our Curriculum right now, my
everyday activities and actions that reflects our country’s effort towards national
security is protecting my family at any cause.

concerning national security in our Country. Use your creativity and imagination to
present your work. Then use another paper for this activity.
