SYLLABUS- BOS APPROVED: ☐YES √ NO

Semester: 2ND
PROGRAMME BACHELORS IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Course Title/Name: BUSINESS STATISTICS

COURSE CODE: B.B.A 2:1 Credits: 04

Total Course Hours: 60 Course Type Minor

Course Objectives:
To familiarize the students with various Statistical Data Analysis tools that can be used for effective decision making.
Emphasis will be on the application of the concepts learnt.

Course Outcomes:
At the end of the course, students are expected to get familiarized with the basic knowledge of statistical and other
functions contained therein related to formation of frequency distributions and calculation of averages, measures of
dispersion, measure of skewness, correlation, regression coefficient, Index numbers and basic sampling and probability
methods. This will enhance the skill of using such statistical methods in business and real-life problems.
