The article is about The Critical Role Of Higher Education In Creating a Sustainable

Future . It is a great journal entry to examine . I would like to start my review by introducing

small topics that has been discussed in the journal . The topics have divided into 5 sub topics

but I would like to choose 3 sub topics from the journal . Firstly , I introduce a sub topic

which is need for a new human perspective .It is about Earth's health and wellbeing are

mostly determined by humans, who also determine whether the planet is suitable for other

species. Instead of labour and technology, natural capital and social capital are the limiting

variables for future economic growth . secondly, the sub topic is about envisioning a

sustainable future . Imagine being part of a community where everyone is happy, healthy, and

has access to the same resources as everyone else. Future engineers, scientists, and

businessmen should develop technologies and businesses that benefit both the environment

and human health. Every waste product serves as a resource or food for a different species or

activity, hence it is important to eliminate trash. The biological richness and complexity of

ecosystems should be restored and increased by human activity, allow future generations of

people to survive off the benefits of nature. To minimise their ecological imprint,

professionals should be aware of their relationships with other people and the environment.

To continue my review about the journal , the journal writer have raised a core topic

which is about higher education’s role . to summarize the There are many people and

organisations leading the way, but the education system for a just and sustainable world is not

given top importance. Few architecture programmes and academic fields have made

sustainable design the foundation of instruction and practise. A paradigm change towards a

systemic perspective highlighting collaboration and cooperation is necessary, as evidenced by

the situation of the globe and the efforts of NGOs and educational institutions in

environmental and sustainability education. Higher education courses frequently place a

strong emphasis on individual growth and competition, producing graduates who are
unprepared for teamwork. Global ecology is experiencing a values, ideas, perspectives, and

knowledge crisis, not an educational one. Then , I have impressed by read the explanation

and the detailed examples . Institutions of higher learning are essential for promoting social,

economic, and environmental sustainability. With annual operational budgets exceeding the

GDP of all but 25 countries, they serve as pillars for economic progress. By choosing

sustainably sourced goods and services, universities can set an example for sustainability.

Joint purchases with local communities can also improve financial power. Education can be

improved and a strong connection to local communities and ecosystems can be fostered by

using teachers and students to do research as part of the learning process. Civic participation

and democratic principles can be promoted by active teacher and student involvement.

To conclude my review , This journal have detailed points about The Critical Role Of

Higher Education In Creating a Sustainable Future . We can refer to this journal for more

details and understandable examples.

Thank you.
