ADD A COLORBAR...
1) First you need to create a sheet with your
colorbar on it. This can be done from various
applications such as Illustrator®, Quark®,
InDesign® and others. Once completed and
saved as a PDF this file can then be easily
selected for you final background sheet.

Note: Remember to allow enough space

around your colorbar. If not, when you
combine your imposed files they may overlap
the color.

2) Open your PDF Document

In this Example I have opened a 32 page, A4
(210mm x 297mm), saddle-stitched document
imposed4up and I would like to Add a Color-
bar to the sheet for final output to be printed
on an (457mm x 559mm) sheet.

Note: I have choosen to make this booklet a

4up which I have already finished with marks.
To see how to create a 4up please review
Quite’s Technical Sheets.

3) To access Quite Imposing Plus, simply

select >Plug-ins and then >Quite Imposing
Plus from Acrobat’s Menu bar.
Alternately, selecting >Plug-ins from the
Menu bar and then >Quite Imposing Plus
>Imposition Control Panel as shown here.

4) Click Preferences... button

A dialog box will appear.

Note: In this dialog we will ask you a series of
