CLO # Unsatisfactory (0–4)
CLO 1 Developed solution is Unsatisfactory
Not in line with the defined objectives
CLO 2  Unable to demonstrate successful
achievement of the allocated task.
 Individual contribution not substantial
considering the over-all objectives
CLO 3
 A poorly written and structured report.
 Unable to present the basic idea of the
developed system.
CLO 4
Milestones not clearly defined, and failed to
manage the time.
CLO 5  Unable to relate its impact on the society.
 Fails to show interest in any extension /
application of the project.
Commendable (5–8)
Successful demonstration of the project.
Under specific assumptions, the objectives are
somewhat met.
 Partially completed the allocated task.
 Minor contribution in the overall
solution developed
 A nicely written report that either lacks
some technical details or wrong citations
to state-of- the-art.
 Explains the basics but fails to respond to
examiners questions
Milestones clearly indicated, but not properly
managed leading to some objectives not met

developed solution on the society.

indirectly related to the developed project.

Successful demonstration of the project.
Objectives are unconditionally met, with a robust solution.
 Completed the allocated task in an efficient way

 A nicely written report that provides every technical
detail, includes citations to sufficiently relevant works,
nicely justifies the impact of the project on the society.
 Precisely presents a detailed insight to the project, is
able to answer most of the questions raised by
examiners.
Milestones clearly defined and achieved that allowed further
extension of the project to incorporate additional features.
 Fully understands the impact of the system on the
society and is able to comprehend the system’s ability
to cope up with future challenges.
 Seems to be highly motivated for further
extending/applying the developed system for lifelong
learning, and has a clear direction forward.
