We did an open house in the town of Kasson. It was a slow process but the key is never to give
up. This was my first open house and I learned a few things from my mentor. Open houses are a
good way to advertise the property you are selling. People will only sometimes show up but
having events like this can show people how much you care for the buyers/owners of the house.

August 5th, 2023

10:00-12:00 pm: 2hrs
We did our second open house in the town of Dodge Center. Three families came in to check the
house out. I showed them around and Addie provided them with the information of the house so
the people had an idea of what they were looking at. We also went over documents such as the
purchase agreement, buyer representation contract, listing agreement, arbitration disclosures,
agencies disclosure, and septic/well contingency.

October 11th, 2024

3:00-5:00 pm: 2hrs
My mentor and I did a walkthrough of a house that was being bought. Before buying a house you
want to check if everything inside works including appliances(if they come with the house),
lights, and faucets. Walkthroughs also happen so the buyer knows what they are buying and for
personal views.

January 17th, 2024

3:30-7:30 pm: 4hrs
For the first hour of working together, we talked about some paperwork and how you can get the
property on the Market. Always include the little things about the house. During the last three
hours, we worked with a couple to see if they were interested in any of the three houses Abbie
was showing.

February 24th, 2024

Second showing and this was a condo. We showed a condo to a couple. They were looking for
their second home.

I started to stage my upstairs apartment. We are cleaning, painting, adding curtains, and adding
extra accessories.

Finished staging and created a post showing the apartment. Took pictures of the place, including
rooms, and square footage.
