Never send spare parts by courier (DHL, TNT, FedEx, etc), otherwise it’s subject to
be seized by Brazilian Customs or might be applied import taxes. To dispatch spares parts
to the vessel it must be done by Air Freight, including an invoice for customs purposes
and a copy of packing list.

Important: AWB must be filled with name of clearance broker, please full fill as
below in order to avoid issues against Customs.

Description to be inserted on AWB body must be ''SPARE PARTS IN TRANSIT''

IN CASE OF WOODEN BOX OR PALLET, IT’S MANDATORY TO HAVE THE PROPER

FUMIGATION CERTIFICATE ISSUED AT ORIGIN, IN ORDER TO AVOID DELAYS AND EXTRA
EXPENSES WITH FUMIGATION AT BRAZIL.

IT’S ALSO MANDATORY INCLUDE BELOW INFORMATION ON AWB:

· Wooden Packing: Processed Wood;
· Wooden Packing: Treated and Certified;
· Wooden Packing: Not Treated and not Certified;
· Wooden Packing: Not Applicable.

The nearest Intl airport is in Porto Alegre city (Salgado Filho Intl airport), which is
approximately 350km from Rio Grande port and 120km from Tramandaí Petrobrás
Terminal (TEDUT) .

02 working days are necessaries for clearance at Intl Airport.

After spares cleared at Porto Alegre Intl airport, car/truck transportation until the vessel
is provided.
As soon as you dispatch the spares, kindly send to us copies of all documents to us provide
clearance at our side.
